I agree so much, it’s hard to forgive ourselves, far harder than it should be, and harder than it feels to forgive others.

Yeah but I've been trying to imagine myself as another person if that makes sense. To treat myself how I would treat others. Hoping it helps

Thank you. I appreciate you checking out my other videos and commenting on this one too. I've been seeing a lot of this kind of content and decided to add to it because it's stuff that I need to hear and I'm glad it's helping other people

I can't not be. I feel like any moment not spent doing something productive, even though I've already been to class, done the required coursework, hit the gym, ect., it's a waste. I spend my time worrying about if I'm doing enough, making enough money, lifting hard enough, training for long enough; I feel like I'm constantly just keeping my head above water. Perhaps this is a touch due to mental illness, but I'm just hungry. I feel that the best way to keep myself striving to be the best I personally can be is to be constantly devoted to it. It's tiring. I wake up feeling just as mentally drained as I did laying my head down the night before. I'm tired. Lovely video, It was refreshing. Best wishes, mate.

Yeah I've heard people have that mindset as well where they constantly need to chase something. Idk what to say other than to recognize each thing that you do and how it has impacted you in a positive way. There is only so much you can do and if you're making the most of it, that's the best. Thanks for watching and best wishes to you as well!

I totally relate to that. I struggle with feeling proud of myself and feeling like I do enough. I guess I’m my own worst enemy. Hopefully one day we can conquer this and feel proud of ourselves

Love it man. We are our own worst critics. I like the part you talked about being frustrated with KZbin because it’s the same way for me. I’ll sit down to record a video and then start jumbling my words or make an editing mistake and I just feel so frustrated but I’m doing it for fun so I just need to enjoy it. Great video

Yep. I have a whole list of topics that I want to make videos on and somedays I just can't speak properly LOL. It can be frustrating but I've been telling myself that this isn't something to get stressed about and I usually just take a break and come back later and I get it done. I gotta check out your videos!

Yep. I know I'm a good person but it's when I make mistakes I feel like I'm not. But those mistakes don't define you and so many of them are learning experiences to become better. Gotta keep that in mind. Thanks for watching!

Aye congrats on the new job! I feel ya with being hard on yourself, especially in school bro. I would always strive to be that A+ student and for the most part I was. But getting that red crossed out paper or test back was the worst feeling sometimes lol
@Slats1
@Slats1 9 күн бұрын
Thank you sir! Yep, I was also a pretty good student but I think because I held that standard on myself, whenever there was a sign of imperfection, I would take it to heart instead of learning from it. It got to the point where I wouldn't even look at the comments they made anymore which didn't help me at all. Thanks for watching!

Honestly, the number of videos about 'locking in' and 'discipline' on social media these days is staggering. When you're stuck in the habit of scrolling through TikTok or Instagram Reels, the constant dopamine rush from these videos can really fry your brain if you don’t act on it. Over time, they start to feel too casual or normal, and the words don’t hit as hard as they should anymore, you know what I mean? The point of these videos fade away pretty much for the general userbase of these applications.
@Slats1
@Slats1 11 күн бұрын
I can see that. I feel like the habit that I was falling into was convincing myself that I'm making change when all I was doing was watching videos on how to better myself. Consuming the content doesn't mean anything if you don't apply it to your own life.

Yea good video really 👍🏻 Yea ofc we should not only be totally selfish. That is very bad idea really. And good to hear you are against some things. I feel when i will do game video, i will be against 99% things that people are talking about. And also people can use criticism in many ways. If they really wanna help you, they are saying it kind way and telling you nicely what you can do in other way. Usually then you are not getting triggered. But ofc failure is like fear to everybody kind of. Also. It is important not to be too sensitive when dealing with all kind of people. But i believe if you are really in safe place, sensitivity is important.

I think this is out of the topic of this video, but since i got BO2, 3 and 4 for christmas, i've been watching zombies videos and then yesterday i started to get these types of videos in my recommended tab, watching the comments in most of these breaks my heart. Is this how my life is going to be when i turn 18? People make it sound like you're going to be depressed, poor and you will stop enjoying things. I don't want that!
@Slats1
@Slats1 11 күн бұрын
Absolutely not. If anything, my life has gotten much better from when I was 18. These videos are to help myself and others to be able to get through times when it's not great. But it's not like my entire life is just problem after problem. There is so much to experience in life and as you get older, you will be able to see more of it :)
