I so don't agree with Sunspot. He is essential on the xtrem x-men, and a lot of people also bring this team in DD7 Global replacing Cyclop by Dark Knight, like BetaRayBill did. He is absolutly essential and a must build.

I just finished my Sunspot and he’s at 1 Diamond right now, he hits so hard people don’t understand unless they have him finished also. Most people have him at like 5 red so don’t have a good reference to how crazy his stats will get. Valley only has a 6 star which proves my point. Cyclops damage is trash compared to a full 7 star Sunspot IMO.

Venom is a trap for sure because skrull replaces him and people don't know this. but if you use Hive on War or CC defense he is fine at G17

So here is a separate tricky thought, what's more important, putting the gold into getting characters to lvl 100 or buying red gear in store? Red gear will lead to unlocking maphisto and getting the rewards with the unlocks sooner, which will help in unlocking more. Getting characters to 100 gets both characters ready for DD7, but if they are done it helps get teams better for offence and defense in crucible/war/arena and higher raids. Higher ranking in all those modes gets more. If all defenses are at 100 they could hold better to rank up. Curious for thoughts. I right now have all possible arena characters' all raid teams (except hive, working on them), and all crucible teams except new warriors, war dogs and defence teams like darkhold/quicksilver, infinity watch are done. Could be better to slow level and buy gear, but then if they are done it's all gear and new characters.

Cosmic GR is NOT replaceable. Him lowering focus by 5000% is too good. Sunspot is great as well, his ultimate has cleared crucible team when they've tried to send small teams to try and clean him up.

So what level should we stop upgrading them? Your Venom's power level is about as high as my strongest character, Kang at tier 18 with a power of 509,011. Sunspot 16 153K, Ironheart 14 150K, Loki 14 173K, and my Starbrand 17 158K. You always have to upgrade everyone.

They will revamp Venom, still a viable franchise for them, so I have him at 85 or so right now. I won't put more into him until they revamp him. But so far the two you have on your list you have them at 98, Venom at one Diamond, Sunspot almost full reds and full ISO 8, Ironheart Mark II at full reds and almost full ISO 8 at level 95, Loki at 95 and One diamond, and Starbrand at 90 almost full on ISO 8 and almost full on red diamonds. So when you say don't invest you mean almost to the top level for all of them??

He is saying what Remanx would say. "We test so you don't have to." Also, I think it's for taking characters to gear 18 and 19 and to 90+.Venom actually has been in the game for years. I think he was added when the first Venom movie released. Plus he was good when he released and then when the Symbiote team became a thing, he was REALLY good again. So all the maxed abilities probably happened when he was first added to the game, or when Symbiotes were the best Bio team for raids. And for higher difficulty raids, a character needs to be a minimum of gear 16/17 or else you can't use them. And the raid team Venom is currently on is the best Bio team for raids. But yeah. With Venom being in the game for years, he was a slow build. My Venom is similar since I've been playing since Launch Day.
