I agree. These are TaoTronics' best effort yet in terms of design, materials, functionality - and sound. Unlike the simultaneously released, cheaper TT-BH060 [Don't they know that these cryptic model names confuse customers?], which sound murky and flat, the TT-BH046 have a much clearer souznd with good highs and acceptable, slightly recessed mids. Without ANC the bass is a little overblown, but not so much so as to overwhelm the higher frequencies. And the sound stage has great depth, too. With ANC you get a more balanced sound at the expense of a slight loss of depth. The ANC itself is a considerable improvement over the predecessors. In traffic, with pop music played at 40% you won't hear anything from the outside. Voices are muted by about 50%, which is great for this kind of money. They can't touch the Sony XM3s or the Bose QC35s, but they're better value. Much better value, especially considering the sturdy build quality and the sleek aluminum + plastic design. For more sophisticated music like classical and jazz you have to invest a bit more, but for rock, pop, hip hop and country they're perfectly acceptable and a great bang for the buck.

I have the Mpowl H12 IPO and the Mpowl H12 I also have the Corwin E7 but I'm still missing that bass fullness and that loud cut off the world sound . I've seen these headsets on sale on offer up for $15 so I checked out your review and it's obvious the person selling them don't know what they have so now I just went back and purchased them. For $15 will give you and updated feedback when I receive them Friday..

I just got a pair because my more expensive ones broke and I needed something cheap, and yeah they surprised me too. I especially like the metal frame, as the plastic joints on my previous headphones were always its downfall. However I have to say, they absolutely suck until you turn on ANC. The sound is terrible without it - and I'm some one who generally never liked ANC from previous headphones.

I ordered a pair. They are Not Bluetooth 5.0 and not sure if that matters. They have a Gold Version but are sold out. Those are "updated to 5.0, etc." I just need a good sounding pair for when I'm out cutting grass. They do have a $10 off coupon, so $69 ain't bad according to all the great reviews.

over time i have found the solution to my issues and you should still buy these headphones great value!!! it works only bluetooth with the mic but when u plug it in lets say to a mac computer to take phone calls the mic wont work u have to purchase 3.5 mm boom mic for the aux port 30 bucks on amazon or 20!! issue resolved!! im not that one guy who figures shit out and disappears!!!!

Funny...I'm returning 060 after 2 days of use and just ordered the 046. The ANC works great on the 60 but when turned on with music, it does not sound too good. The ANC works great on its own. However, after watching a whole bunch of reviews of how much better the 046 is I've decided to go for it.

Can you mention if this is not ideal for people with large heads? The Anker Spacecore NC is very tight on the head for people with large head. Actually its designed for people with small head. It basically squeezes the head. How about this headphones? Are they as small as the Anker spacecore nc?

@@SultanxD I am still very content. I was surprised at how good the noise cancelling is. It takes away all the low irritating noises. Sometimes i wear it at work with no music on, and it helps me focus. The bass is very decent, but not the best i have heard tbh. The mids are really nice though. In this price range it is the best noise cancelling you will get I think. But again, if the bass is very important for you, then maybe save some more money and buy somethjng else. Edit: it is also very, very comfortable! High quality materials and nice case. It looks very expensive, but the headphones are also really wide. I personally don't mind, but other people may do.

Have you tried to compare with Mpow H10? I've tried 4-5 different products under 100 from Amazon, and I found that the Mpow H10 showed the best ANC for that price range. I noticed that it is comparable to Boss QC35.

I have tried Mpow H10. It was good. The only problem I have it have a slight static background noise which might be a defective product. Returned the product. I would have keep it if not for the Static background noise. Bought a Anker Spacecore NC. Which turned out to be a total dungpile. Basically fell apart after 29 days of use.

Okay first impressions at £55. Comfort so far okay but haven't worn them a great deal. Sound with ANC off is bass heavy for me and just sounds like I am under water. Honestly the bass is terrible, it kills the song you are listening to. Bass head or not these are not good. 3/10 for music. With ANC on the sound is clearer and the muddy bass is gone. They sound so much better it makes me wonder why they chose the sound signature with ANC off. 7/10 for price/performance (ie if they were more expensive they would score less. Note about the ANC: there is a background hiss that is generally not noticed when playing music (or at least pop/rock/metal that I listened to). It is noticeable when listening to an audio book. You may begin to not hear it if you listen for a while or just turn it off. Debating if I am keeping them tbh. I don't have other ANC headphones so difficult to compare. My AKG K702's are not surprisingly clearer but that is meaningless as a comparison.

IAM really picky with sound quality . Because i love bass but i also love sound quality . I just got the mpow m5 wirless earbuds. After searching and second and third guessing and watching a ton of videos. But i am blown away by these. Great thumping bass but good highs and mids also. Plus they get loud. After looking around and trying a buttload of Headphones. You cannot escape the reality that you have to pay to get good quality products. I tried the Quite Comfort 35 II and when it comes to comfort. They are comfortable as it can be. No vise like squeezing sensation around the head as with these sub 100 dollar headphones. For 300++ usd. It is worth the money as it saves you the aggravation of trying to deal with these budget headphone products. As far as I can tell this headphone looks like it squeezes Travis Head and it looks small compared to his head.
