They released a new version called Qinsui 2 Pro+ that has stitching and flat packaging. Try to order that one if you can!

Just bought mine through one of your recommendations. The comfort is no joke, probably one of the comfiest pads I've had. Initial impressions are good. consistent mudpad, breaking in my pad curious to see how it feels after a few weeks.
@Slyve2 жыл бұрын
No one’s mentioned obvious slowdown. So should have pretty good durability. Weeks I’ve used it nothing has changed yet

@@Slyve Is it much better than the parabrake v2? Im from EU and dont want to deal with import taxes so wondering if I should just stick with the parabrake. Btw thx for reviewing "mud pads", I'm tired of all these speed pads.
@Slyve2 жыл бұрын
It really depends on if you have issues with the parabrake or not. For myself the parabrake had uncomfortable high stitching and the surface started to get ruined with lint getting caught in pad after only a month. If you don’t have these issues the parabrake is a solid surface. I originally liked it when it was new. For myself this pad is much easier to keep clean, doesn’t have stitched edges, hasn’t changed since I’ve had it and I didn’t have quite a drastic effect with speed change from humidity. It’s also really similar comfort wise to my skin like parabrake when new. It’s hard to say how much better it is. I think it’s definitely worth getting once you wear out your parabrake or get bored of it. But if its really expensive for you to get from aliexpress I’d wait until you need it. Funnily enough the parabrake was much more expensive than this pad as I got charged import taxes for it but not the qinsui. Also thanks for watching :) goal is to eventually have every mudpad/slow pad reviewed or compared at some point!

@@Slyve Thanks for the fast reply! Aye, let's see if I get lint issues with the parabrake. Hope it won't turn into a second Artisan Zero, mine looks like a used carpet now with all that stuck hair/lint lol
@Slyve2 жыл бұрын
Yeah it’s hard to describe it not like the zeros issue it’s more like the surface of the pad slightly rolling up into itself, it’s hard to see but you can feel it in parts of the pad you use. It’s the first pad that I’ve ever seen have something like this so not sure how to explain. The zeros hair and lint you can clean off if you spend the time at least in comparison. I didn’t use it longer than a month so I’m not sure how severe it could get or if it stops but I’m sure pulsar warranty should cover it if it’s easy to spot visibly

I just bought the GSR. I was more interested in this, vaxee pa, odin eclipse, or lgg saturn but I backed away after seeing the shipping price to my country. The benefit of being a big brand like zowie means there's a lot official retail stores even out here in a small country in Asia. Le shrug
@Slyve2 жыл бұрын
What retailer? And yeah both pads are the same performance wise but the qinsui 2 pro just has some nice quality of life improvements + better durability. But if price difference is huge not worth it of course. At the end of the day any black rectangle will work haha

I couldnt find GSR's here and the qinsui was noticeably cheaper. I guess it depends on what parts of asia you are from

Came across your channel looking for a deskpad that’s as slow as the GSR. Do you have any recommendations? I’ve tried just about everything
@Slyve2 жыл бұрын
LGG Jupiter or Xraypad Equate might be the only thing somewhat close. Personally I’d just buy the deskpad with design of your choice and then lay GSR on top of it. Not a lot of choices out there for mudpads in deskpad sizes Edit. Puretrak MF1 is also another option if it’s still for sale but still a bit faster
@GuilteTV2 жыл бұрын
@@Slyve Tried the Jupiter. X/Y imbalance and stick-slip. I used the Equate for a very long time, but still want something as slow as the GSR. I want deskpad size because I play pretty low sens and use most of the space to the right of my keyboard. Thanks for the reply though :)

I’d try counter rolling the edges that are having issues while on your desk, might help speed to lay flat. And I agree :)

If i want a pad that is a little faster than this one which pad would you recommend? Could it be qinsui 2(non-pro) or equate? I have humidity issue but with Qinsui 2 pro i don't have much humid issue with it. (Anyone can recommend)
@Slyve Жыл бұрын
That’s a hard question if you have humidity issues. I think the first step would be looking into tiger ice mousefeet if you don’t have them. Will speed the qinsui2 pro up a bit. (Also smaller mousefeet if you are using something like the logitech superlight/303 with huge feet) For mousepad suggestions I’m not really sure what to recommend other then maybe trying to stay with a thicker pad as that could be helping in some way. But yeah Equate or X-ray Pad Zero is probably a decent choice if you don’t mind texture on the surface. Hopefully some of this info helps

This affected by mouse feet size?
@Slyve Жыл бұрын
Yea, though haven’t found a cloth mousepad that isn’t. I’d say that type of mouse skates make a bigger difference than size. Tiger arc 1s will be slower than tiger ice for example. I’d probably recommend having a set of tiger ice on standby if you’re using large skates unless you want most control possible.
@yyyayayaa2 жыл бұрын
dude, is there any mouse feet that are more control than others?
@Slyve2 жыл бұрын
Tiger Arc 1s are probably the most controlled that are available for most mice. Also sanding the base of your mouse and using the largest mouse feet available can help if you need that little bit more
@yyyayayaa2 жыл бұрын
@@Slyve sanding base? how that work?
@Slyve2 жыл бұрын
So before you even consider this make sure you have tried tiger arc 1s. Basically you’re just sanding the base of the mouse in order to get rid of the cutouts for the original mouse feet. This way you can add whichever feet from whatever mouse that has similar dimensions. You just need to make sure to disassemble base from mouse so no dust gets in the sensor. Adding larger/smaller feet can usually change the glide for most smooth pads.

this better than kamek?
@Slyve2 жыл бұрын
Different speed brackets so hard to compare. Both are very good. Pretty much depends on if you want more comfort(qinsui) or slightly better humidity resistance(Kamek). Kamek will be better for most people especially if you don’t know you want a mudpad. Direct comparisons are GSR to qinsui and artisan zero to kamek.
@Version-ru1mj Жыл бұрын
I still prefer my Zowie G-SR instead of this. The durability is lower than the Zowie G-SR since it has no stitched edges and the cloth will roll up under a year. The quality is not better at all. In the end, I sold mine. I only like the QCK Heavy compared to Zowie G-SR. Pads like Artisan and Vaxee, they are not my allee as not many professional tac shooter players alley. Most of the players are using slow control pads like G-SR and the QCK+ / QCK Heavy. I really, really hate clickbait youtube videos like yours. Just because you got it, it's the best pad. Even the Vaxee PA / PA black is HEAVILY affected by humidity. So there's that. I live in Europe and have tried my Zowie G-SR in Eastern Europe, up north and south as well. Humidity did not affect it anywhere.
