When you call them out, it activates their fear mechanism and they resort to their defense mechanisms. Its after you call them out they start the smear campaign and begin the process of eliminating you. This is especially important at work wherethere are massive financial consequences. Its in your own best interest to let them "think" they are winning Go grey rock or quetly remove yourself depending on the circumstance. After im gone, and have secured something better, I blast them with my knowledge though and thats my toxic trait 😂. And that sounds like the same monkey branching behavior the narcissist engages in, but before I make this decision I genuinely determine whether or not im projecting and there is evidence to support my convictions.
