I love Arteta but the performance was poor. I always judge a manager by the team performance, sometimes they can play well and just not score or a player makes a mistake in defence and that’s not the manager’s fault, and likewise if it wasn’t for Havertz run we would of drawn that game. Arteta still needs to show us precised player rotation. Martin odegaard is a wonderful player but he us not physically strong. We all need to accept that he doesn't have a great game always. When that happens Saka doesn't outstand. Trosard can sub Odegaard. When Saka is not performing, Jesus can easily fit in. Player rotation is key.

Zinchenko aside, Arteta has built a back line where all the back line can play Centre Back. Gabriel, White, Saliba, Tomi, Kiwior. Which means they all have the posional mindset. Compare that to Casemiro. Chalk and cheese

i don’t understand why people think vvd getting in over saliba is ridiculous. i’m an arsenal fan n i think saliba has been better, marginally, but vvd has undoubtedly had the harder job. saliba has played alongside the same pack 5 all season, with the exception for the lb role changing. Vvd has dealt with multiple different cb partners, different goal keepers, different fullbacks and still has been great. he’s single handedly lead their defence at time this season when then likes of quansah, tsimikas or connor bradley have played alongside him. so i think it’s clear and obvious as to why he got picked. use your head

I felt the marks for the midfield trio were generous I would mark them all down and give them a 6. MOM Saliba. I said all along this will go to the final day and it will no matter what happens at Spurs. My middle grandson lives near the Judge and is a little Spud so of course we want Spurs to win and I think they will have a right go at City this is about professional pride and if Villa slip tonight against Liverpool then they still have a mathematical chance of finishing in a CL spot. During the summer EDU needs to get busy we need to sell 11 players and bring in at least 7 top quality players to close that gap on City. COYG.

With this Manu team we should have scored a minimum of 3 . Apart from the back four , everyone switched off . Partey , Rice , Saka, Oda were soo average . Their mid block gave us a problem and they had no formation . It was a chaotic and disorganised game …. And truth be told , I don’t like to see us play like this . City is meticulous at this stage and that end I feel May be they still are better than us .
