mine's 15 years old, never had a problem he can go off leash, when i tell him to walk beside me he does wont go after cats / small animals (only when they are in his back yard, and yes, it's his, indoor is mine) loves small dogs and elderly folk never tried to escape, not even once he is nearing his end of life tho, and i'm pretty devastated about it, but he had a good life and he enriched mine completely do research, treat them with the respect they deserve and you'll have a friend for life

mine was from a local shelter young and very very impulsive shooting out suddenly like a rocket to end of reel with a very powerful sudden stopping jolt sufficient to potentially dislocate a shoulder, without constant attention with similar power they can pull you off balance with a sprawling forward fall onto your face or now broken wrist, also one must be always vigilant to never ever allow fingers or limbs to become entwined in the leash. No cell phone and constant observation and foresight with my husky. But he's improving and in other respects i like him a lot.

My husky never barked or fetch or talk..her came from humane sociatu..at 11..now 14
