My rules: 1. DO NOT make the walkspeed too slow in horror games, unnecessary to. 2. If your making generated rooms and stuff, do not put below 5 different rooms, as it can get very repetitive if you put below 5. 3. Do not Start making your obby in public, private recommended. 4. Do not put put loading screens for obbys with under 1000 parts, its unnecessary. 5. DO NOT PUT A SCREEN WHERE IT ASKS IF YOU LIKED OR NOT, There are 2 reasons and probably more to be told why its bad. Firstly, You havent even seen what the game actually looks like in person so theres no reason at all to waste your time making this. Secondly, it will actually just get u less likes. Since players get annoyed by this, they will not like it at all and pretend they did or just leave. 6. Dont spam Premades. 7. Dont make lag machines 8. Dont use werid crouching Mechanics (Ex, Swim parts and sit parts) 9. Dont use obivous and overused troll names (ex, No troll obby, Totally not troll and totally normal obby) 10. Dont make thin boundaries (your allowed to but its recommended not to becuz of /e dance2 noclip)

Going back to this video, it's good tips but there is 1 thing, you could make a unoriginal theme good, like don't go to the old obbies, go play something like. Undertale Alternate Time Line that obby is so peak, like really you just gotta check it out. And second thing, never use old obbies as your example. Because old obbies may be just mid at best compared to current obbies. Like you used a terrible sans multiverse obby but you could've may be included Undertale multiverse takedown or something else that has qualities instead of going to the popular one with the most likes and is the oldest.
