Hey Woohoojin, this act i decided to grind to gold (i was silver 3 last episode but always played with friends so it didnt feel earned). I got placed in silver 1 after placement matches and at a point i had 3 W/7 L and somehow double ranked up 11th match and today after playing my 2 games for the day i was 24 away so i played 1 more and got to 22 so i had to queue another and it was very close score was 9-11 and somehow my team managed to win 4 consecutive and so after 17 games i got placed gold. Thankyou hooj, i appreciate your content.

Oh hey, that adding things to your playbook mentality is straight out of fighting games. Once you're not getting hit by dumb shit as much you see situation, grind situation, and next time 5hwt situation comes up you have a better answer. What you grind could be anything from a cool combo to a neutral trick to some nasty mix.

Hey, woohoojhin! Im curious to see what you think about grim walls, do you think its a waste of util?? Im a sage main so i use grim walls alot, but sometimes people say im wasting the wall. Im bronze btw, if that info helps! I hope you reply!
@Swordboypat5 ай бұрын
dont listen to what bronze players think, do you hear radiants complaining about grims use of his walls in his games? no, so ignore the haters.
@tabemash05945 ай бұрын
The wall is very versatile. You can get off angles, new cubbies, new angles for getting info (see recent pro omen vod) and even one ways. But don’t become predictable. A regular wall is also still good. Slowing the push for your team to get some rotates gives you better odds in getting traded. In bronze you should be focusing on aim though right? I’m just plat though I’m not hooj. If all else fails look at a few different radiant level sage players and how they use the wall, and why.

@@tabemash0594 thank you! This reply helped me alot, also I am trying on improving my aim, but i didnt played ranked for 2 years, only unrated, this month I finally started playing competitive which is why grim walls aren't something hard for me to use, I do it without thinking. Ur reply helped me alot, I'll try ro use my walls more effectively
@LoudCommentor5 ай бұрын
Personally I'd say they're like lurks -- used every now and then when they're least expected. When they're expected, you want to do something different (Standard wall? Grim wall but don't stand on it?). They are VERY effective at high rank because they add that element of unexpectedness to players who know and expect all the standard play strats. In Bronze games, this can help, but no one is expecting anything AND your team is bad. If your grim walls are helping you get kills and winning rounds, good wall. If you're standing on a wall while enemy team is all known on another side, bad wall. If your team is dying because they run into site, can't win fights, and your wall + presence could help them? Bad grim wall.
