My Cad Band and IG-88 are both r5 and I was able to reach 1st in fleet arena everyday. So not worth it, or needed in my opinion. The resources aren’t that easy to come by to just casually take sub par characters to r7/8 just for their ship. When I unlock Leviathan. I’m not going to r7/8 my Sith Assassin for a few points into speed

Also remember folks Geo’s have a mission in ROTE on Geonosis with a R7 minimum requirement. So building them up helps you get better at fleets, and helps you get more points to get more stars in ROTE.

Add to the list ISC and gar Saxon. Sure people are getting on the pain train, but many are keeping them at relic 5 or lower. Higher relics are so worth it, make the maul vs SLKR counter way more consistent and the 2v5 vs Gas easier

Problem is, you need Jango to taunt so that Gar doesn't get blitzed down/one shotted by CAT and because he is a tank (for some reason), and Maul gives taunt to the healthiest ally, there's a chance you might mess it up and make him the tankiest instead of Jango. This is what's been keeping me from taking him and ISC beyond relic 3

As far as I know its hard to outtank a well modded Jango if you focus on Health mods sith primaries on him since he has such high % increases for it ​@@RandomGuy-ed8zq

@@RandomGuy-ed8zq first off, jango is required at relic 7 for kenobi, so that should help keep him healthiest. Second and more importantly, his unique gives him +50% protection. My relic 6 gar Saxon with tenacity and health sets isn’t initially healthier than my relic 5 jango with offense sets. If your jango is weaker than your gar, something is seriously wrong

Super helpful ... if you got the relic mats to spare, or even worse ... the kyro techs to spare to even get some to level 13 ... nobody is "sleeping" on those characters...they are simply not having the ressources to spend relics and kyros on characters not specifically needed for GLs or Legendary Unlocks...

Hey Ahnald quick question. When we first did KAM testing we found he worked well with I’m Gun Di (I think that’s his name) where he would hit in the hundreds of thousands prior to Qui Omi but it seems that just suddenly went away what happened to it and why not use it with Qui Omi?

I am using plo also with galen marek rn, if i have a very strong team/mid GL i throw in the senate with starkiller, but if its two mid teams i split palpatine and starkiller and go palpsi with mara jade vader and co while plo is leading starkiller into the battle, since I did not work on old ben or other jedi i could use

I know a few of the relics on the list were non-ship related and characters are more susceptible to falling out of favor. In the situation of ships, I rarely see ship investments not pay off. The meta for ships is so much slower and power creep does not make ships irrelevant nearly as fast as character upgrades. Tomorrow feels like a good day for a Road Ahead if one was to happen!

The frame of reference just needs to shift. It used to be that characters were "parked" at g8, then g11, then r5. The current era, really should be parking stuff at r7, then make decisions about r8+.

So GE, I just got finished with the Executor req's and I read the lore tab in the Journey Guide and it mentions the A-Wing that suicided into the command center, in turn making it crash into the Death Star. Now hear me out, what if they made an A-Wing ship, and when it reinforces, it gains the granted ability for one turn (along with the basic so if you want to keep the ship around instead you can) 'Loose Control' so long as the enemy capital ship is Empire. It wont Insta-Kill like the mk.6 did for that short period when it came out, but it could inflict a locked ability block until the end of encounter, and by nature it would be instantly defeated. If you see this lmk what you think.

I suppose many people leave their Royal Sausage at relic 3 because he's a Sith Eternal requirement. For those who don't have Lord Vader there's not that much reason to upgrade him further (maybe for the Palpmobile?). Mine usually just gets yeeted by CAT in a SEE vs JMK battle

Definitely not. These are characters that are supplemental that enable big things for things you already have. For relics you should do first, there are other videos I and others have made that recommend the best relics in general to do.

Mr. ahnald, question 🙋🏻. Is it a bad idea to put down the chad batch (jmk bad batch) and splitting up the jml squad to create a better padme/qui gon team while supercharging either padme, rey, cere with CAT. I was thinking since chad batch were the best jmk team pre-cat and bad batch isn’t used on offense because everyone plays around it. It’s kind of a response to when you said there aren’t many super defensive teams, so why not splitting one to supercharge the others?

My answer would be no, because even today JMK + cat on defense is so strong and cat does not work nearly as well with other teams even when there is synergy. You might catch some goofy wins with JMK +BB though since it hasnt been seen in a while.

Nope, the ship shares none of the modding or stats as the character. It is its own unit. It is a little confusing. Modding your character for speed/protection/etc does not impact the ship at all.
