Are these cheaper than exhausting IB-1 clips already out there? Once the are under $1.00 it will be a no brainier to do on all renovations and new construction

Can I use this for zones do I have to remove all of my ceiling? My apartment is already build and I am hoping to avoid disassembling my upper kitchen cabinets and my wardrobes.

There's a noisy (impact noise) business under my apartment, what can I use to reduce the noise?

Hello my upstairs neigbours when they walk or when they drop something down i cann hear everything but everything.If i put rockwool with plasterboard is good?
@iKousticSoundproofing10 ай бұрын
Hi! While the mineral wool is going to reduce the amount of sound reverberating inside the floor cavity, you'll want to decouple the ceiling because this is impact noise. Without decoupling the ceiling, the impact vibrations can still easily travel through the floor, into the ceiling and transmit into your room below.

@@iKousticSoundproofing hey thank you for the reply you are the best.But because i dont know nothing about this. The man that will come to do this he told me he will put rockwool and then he will put plasterboard and the roof will come down 15 inches (points)

@@aggelosalexandrou7475 Did they put shock absorbers between the original wall and the new one? For impacts to be effective, no component of the new roof has to touch the original. In addition to also doing the walls, because otherwise, the noise will come out through the walls that are in contact with the ceiling.

I'm the noisy neighbour, well my dogs are, can this be used on walls?😊
@iKousticSoundproofing10 ай бұрын
Hi Chris, yes it certainly can! I've linked you to the systems page for walls. You can use the MuteClip on stud and brick walls and this will give you the bes reduction for the space you use. We also have another video explaining how this works on a wall v/s only using soundproofing panels. what if I hear neighbors ~next door~ dragging their whole house? What is the reason? how do I solve this? I don't hear them talking, just the furniture

Say you soundproofing ceiling, then a child upstairs jumps, what would that sound like with the new soundproofing, because imagine it won't be silent?
@iKousticSoundproofing6 ай бұрын
The ceiling soundproofing would help reduce the noise greatly but it's unlikely it would be able to eliminate it completely. This type of impact sound is best treated at source so using an acoustic underlay on the floor above would be useful!
