i don't see society as a monster more if people go on auto pilot and do not think about what they are doing that is it self the monster been complacent and not seeing what the action of society as a whole is doing. but i do agree that people are to easy to judgment of others and labeling them, i think it brings more comfort to the person labeling others than those who they are labeling. if a person is happy then they are happy its that simple.

As an autistic non binary person I completely disagree with this video and think this is deeply harmful for people who are neurodivergent. I spent 22 years of my life not knowing I was autistic. As a result of me not knowing I was raped by a pedophile and many other men in my life. I was suicidal and tried to commit suicide many times. I was abused by my family, had a hard time keeping friends and relationships. I was so low that I thought I wouldn’t make it to 21. Without my LABEL, without my diagnosis, I would have killed myself. Without the proper treatment and care undiagnosed individuals suffer. If you are neurodivergent then you can personally decide whether you need the label/diagnosis or not but if you are neurotypical you have NO place in saying whether someone should label themselves or their children. These kinds of conversations are harmful to autistic people and neurodiverse people because it is telling them that them being autistic is not okay. Why label yourself? Why put yourself in a box? These kinds of conversations are ableist in of itself because if you educated yourself on autism you would understand that it isn’t a box. No one autistic person is the same. Labelling yourself as autistic or neurodiverse is empowering, it’s self accepting, it can give you hope and a sense of community in a world not designed for us. I am HAPPY i am AUTISTIC and I am PROUD of LABELLING myself!!!
