It is hard to not listen to music, but the results have been so life-changing. Every time I decided not to give in to my urges, I've done better in social situations, had sharp wit, better speech skills and marginally improved focus. The best thing that happened to me was that I can think and perceive clearly. No more unnecessary thought, anxiety or delusion. Just straight, clear, undiluted reality.

Listening to music has been the most brain damaging habit for me. The music industry has turned altered the sound frequency to some MH. that is harmful for the brain. I've had to depend on music for- 1. Workouts 2. Loneliness 3. Extreme boredom
