I look at it as I always have the option to leave the game if we have been overrun. It can also be a nice opportunity to stack some kills because the enemy gets overconfident. I also agree to turning my anger on my team if we are being spawn camped haha sometimes I'm even wiling to blame myself ;)

On Carpathians, with fast vehicle, and short reload (BR < 8) it is so much fun to rush the tunnel on the hill and catch enemy's first push from behind. So many quick kills. So many revange bombers :)

When you have tanks with an effective combat range of 2+ kilometers and the map is only 1.5-3k across, it's almost a certainty. Plus most MBT cruise at like 50+ kph

Spawncamping is annoying, everyone hates dying to spawncampers, but they mostly happen because of you/your team not making sure that happens (not including bad map design shenanigans). When that happens, I really can't complain and use that experience instead to learn what to do when I notice a flank is open. Also, great video as always. I'm glad to see another top tier japan enjoyer ;)

For Carpathians I honestly thought you'd show the G5 climb which puts you just above the spawn point and gives you clear shots at anything going to A from the left spawn point. Risky spot as you can't get out (at least to my knowledge) but powerful if the other team doesn't realize where you are while picking them off one by one. Great videos though, still learning maps and spots so these help more than enough!

A word of caution about this point:Don't attempt to get there with wheeled vehicles,it won't work and some tracked vehicles(like the Type 89) can't really get up there either.

The point is, it works so far with every tracked vehicle I've tried so far. It takes a bit to get up, but once you're up there, you are a god. Just make sure you carry enough ammo; otherwise, you will run out and become useless.

Really good video for helping new players figure out positioning. I will say however it will not help you against experienced players. For example - the carpathians play, an experienced/competitive player 9/10 times will never push for C. A gives you control over the points and their spawn for both sides. You always want control of A. If I have A and your on C, I'm 10/10 times destroying you or taking your breach.

As a Top Tier Japan Main, I don't care which side I'm on when it comes to spawncamping, cause I know I will be the one who will have the final laugh, not my enemies lol. I would also like to add that unless you're playing with friends who are decently skilled at the game, as in if you're solo queueing, always have the mindset that it's a 1 vs 16, not a 16 vs 16, cause in my experience, regardless of BR, your teammates will always suck at teamplay. In Solo Queue sessions, you are well and truly alone. Your teammates will not give a crap if you get crippled right by their side or right in front of them, they will ignore your need of help in repairing and proceed to get themselves killed in the stupidest way possible. As it stands right now, barely 5% to 10% of WT players actually have the intelligence and skill to be truly good at this game.

i agree with your opinion about spawncamping. it is a mistake for a team to let the opposing team get a spawncamping position. that's why maintaining flank position is important. i really like your content. informative and educative. very helpful for all of us especially for new players.

at the beginning i got REALLY anxious and/or nervous during a match, felt like everyone was watching me and ready to destroy my cardboard tank since i play AB but after some time i started becoming better and better and that anxiety dissapeared almost completely once i managed to trust my own ability, now i can get 10 or more kills consistently and if my tank explodes its a bit stressing and infuriating but there's more trustful tanks that give me the upper hand even if the favorite one was destroyed without any kills whatsoever at the start of the match

Some maps/situations the issue of spawn camping is moot. Air Stratosphere spawn bombing/missle is CAS issue Some maps offer far too great an advantage from the middle of the map which is design flaw. The iasue is ultimately circumstance at best. If you win and they have a few left of course you spawn camp but early and unfair camping is equally true and valid. It ultimately comes down to context imo

My spawn camping pet peeve is when my team is doing great but then everyone goes and spawn camps while the enemy sneaks behind our lines and decaps and eventually wipes the campers. They may have gotten 1 or 2 easy kills... but it's only a matter of time until someone uses spawn invulnerability to slap your face

Spawn Camping: I don't like to be spawn camped. But, if I am getting blown up at the spawn, I consider it that I, and my team, have allowed it. So, no hospital bills, just ride it out and play again. I also do like rushing the enemy spawn, doing donuts while waiting on one to spawn, and getting my shot off. Why? Because they allowed it. What I HATE is CAS. The ONLY reason a player plays CAS in a ground match is because they can't aim a tank cannon, they don't know and understand cover and concealment, and their momma wears combat boots! #jussayin

The ash river strat is good for any tank, managed to get 11 kills there with the t1e1, but then a pe8 came and bombed everyone 😂 The Carpathians strat also works for every tank, if you're in a heavy you can additionally immediately drive to the hill to spawncamp and hope that noone can pen you (because they will shoot from below, so a higher angle of impact)

Honestly I've got a love-hate relationship with these kinds of videos. On one hand, the tips are great and I can tell they usually can apply to lower tiers as well. On the other hand, now pretty much everyone who sees these videos is gonna start doing this, which... COULD get annoying.

Even simple things like marking place where You spotted enemy - so that every time gun is pointed straight in that direction ! Steam says I've played for 2700 hours. But I spent at least 1000 hours in air battles. And for several hundred hours the game was just running. For example, while I was making this video, I was online for 8 hours but did not play.

5:00 NO. You and everybody else for that matter, need to undestand that spawncamping and snowballing isn't anybody's fault. It's the game's design fault. And that fault is called RESPAWNS. Anybody who has played World of Tanks, yes that crappy "arcade" game, knows that because there are no respawns, even ONE player can turn the tide even against all odds. You kill one, you have one less to kill. In WT you kill one and it's like you haven't killed anyone. You still have an entire team to kill. Respawns do NOT allow good players to "carry" the team. And before you say that carrying the team is a bad thing because the team should perform better anyway (which is what you're saying), understand that this is a GAME and it's being played by all kinds of people, young and old. Even people with disabilities. You can't expect everyone to be on the same level. Respawns are also the root of toxicity in the game. Why? Because you kill one and that one will haunt you for the rest of the battle. He will ignore everybody else and focus on you and you alone. I know what you'll say....ok just keep killing him. It's not that simple. If half the players in each battle do this, it completely changes the dynamic of the battle. Without respawns, the dead ones go back to hangar. That's it. Out of sight, out of mind for both sides. Gaijin should do an experiment. Remove respawns for like a week and collect data. I bet more people will be willing to play. Battles will be faster and therefore progress will be faster as well, and of course the good players who will carry a dead team (like it very often happens in WoT) will be rewarded handsomely. "Oh but WoT has hitpoints" one would argue. And? Doesn't WT have hitpoints as well? Instead of vehicle hitpoints it has module and crew hitpoints AND the crew heals for a percentage. How many times did you have to shoot a vehicle two or three times to destroy it? How many times have you survived one or even two hits? There is no difference really.

So tell me how I'm supposed to win this game. Had a game today i had 3 kills 1 assist another guy had 5 kills and had 1 kill. And If your scratching your head and thinking why did I stop after 3 people that's because the other 14 couldn't get 1 kill combined sure some got assists but 0 kills so our team ended up being spawn trapped and we lost

Great guides, but there is one problem with them. You give people knowledge that they should acquire themselves through their experience. The impact of your videos is huge, often more than half of the team goes to the places you show and therefore the match is automatically lost. I don't care if someone can't play and has poor results. Maybe thanks to these tips he will do 30% more than usual, and not always, but he still won't be able to play it. This game has too many different aspects to play well and it requires several hundred hours of experience. Your videos are unfortunately harmful in some way.

I understand, I would like it to be like that too, but unfortunately it won't be. I've played several thousand battles in this game on various BRs and almost never anyone plays for the team. Maybe 20-25% of players at least mark the position of their enemies and try to play in such a way as to win, the rest hunt others, often losing out on it themselves. I learned some interesting tactics by watching these guides, but unfortunately most people will consider it an opportunity to get kills.
