Genuinely, most of your fashion how to videos are beyond so helpful. I’m Autistic/have ADHD and have dressed primarily for comfort and Sensory Processing Disorder my entire life (this has meant I cannot wear more than a few types of fabric in essence). Branching out has been impossible until this past year. I didn’t know videos like this existed. You don’t shame for certain choices/styles/colours and encourage branching out and are educational on different styles and what to wear on different occasions. You speak slowly, clearly and your expressions are clear/easy to understand. You have no idea how helpful you are 💕

If you work out a lot you could wear stainless steel jewelry. The color is noticeably darker than silver but it is stronger, untarnishable and hypoallergenic. It is a lot cheaper than silver but it never turns black, as opposed to silver, and can be really shiny if it's well polished. You can shower, swim, sleep, exercise or do whatever with it and it will not lose its shape nor brake. Though not usually as custom nor artistic as silver, you will find awesome stainless steel pieces.

Yes, steel also comes with several platings or eloxated that do not react with sweat, salt water or chlorine in pools. Titanium, which would be recommended for piercings, that are worn 24/7 anyways, is also a great option. For stretched ear piercings silicone is a really good and comfy option, as it is very flexible and skin friendly.

I'm the guy on the thumbnail 😂 But that's thanks to the black shirt. I feel like that's really just too basic and therefore I accessorize more when I wear one. There are exceptions to that, e.g. when I wear cargo pants that already add more structure to an outfit. Commonly though, I stack up the bracelets (between 3 and 5) and wear 2 to 3 rings. Just to add detail as I never feel comfortable in something too simplistic.
@TheSupercuber3 ай бұрын
I never wore jewelry when I was young but when I became a janitor I used to find rings and wear them. Years later I worked outdoors and found a nice bracelet and a chain. Eventually I bought pieces and I kinda followed the 112 instinctively but wasn't necessarily opposed to breaking the rule. Sometimes it feels natural to hide my necklace or skip altogether on rare occasions. My uncle wears rings on every finger but some people can pull off that look while others can't. I don't like rings on consecutive fingers so usually a cabochon ring and spoon ring on middle and pinky or two spoin rings. I like wood or stone rings too.

I love that you never condemn anyone for their style choices. I'm one of those types who loves to go "overboard" with jewelry. I'm really into more "maximalism" type fashion most of the time. Half because I love layers and eschewing traditional fashion expectations and half because I never really understand "proper" social fashion. But in exploring learning to masculinize my appearance in a more minimal but attractive way, I stumbled upon your channel. I love that you explain how and WHY something works. But also that you don't condemn other choices. You don't preach that your way is the only/right way. Just A way. And I love that. :D Thanks for the tips.

1-1-2 rule is a good rule of thumb but can easily be broken well depending on the pieces of jewelry worn, for example you can wear more than 2 rings but the balance in size, material and generally non-symmetry can help to make it look good

The 1-1-2 rule I think only applies if all your jewelry is larger you know? I think having two rings a necklace and then two bracelets still work's great as long as your 2nd bracelet is a bit more subtle and smaller then the other. Just to add that extra detail to the hand that dosent have any rings on it if your like me and like all your rings just on one hand

I absolutely agree with you in all of your points, I think men should really embrace their jewelery because its absolut not "a woman thing" to wear those, however, I think it depends on the overall person wether you look great with gold or silver, also depending on the outfit. I definitely over do it with my jewelry but only because each one means alot to me and I don't see that as fashion statements but more as I'm carrying these people with me and then on top of that I wear bracelets or rings that go depending on my outfit. For instance the jewelry ill never take off are a gold necklace and gold ring I use as charm on the necklace I've had since I was a kid given to me by uncle and aunt, a silver bracelet from my mother since when i graduated hs. A 3 year anniversary bracelet (stainless steel) from my gf, another necklace (jade charm) from my late cousin and a silver ring that I bought for myself as a symbol for my country and family when I went to visit. And from there, I've added 3 more rings and 2 bracelets whose colors usually match with my outfit. Definitely too much, but meh my look is already iconic amongst my friends and family that they question me if a piece is missing If you're wondering how it may look, it goes some like this Neck: golden chain with a Jesus charm and gold ring with a sapphire main gem and 2 smaller clear gems (diamonds?) Another necklace with black string and jade charm (size: 1.5"×1") Left hand: 1 silver bracelet, 1 stainless steel bracelet, an unknown golden metal ring on my ring finger. Unknown silver metal on my pinky. Right hand: 2 beaded bracelets (colors depending on outfit), silver ring on my ring finger, and stainless steel ring on my pinky If you made it here, thank you for taking an interest in my odd fashion sense
