You can also freeze ripe plantains and it will arrest the ripening process. The skin will turn black but it won't affect the plantain or its taste

I made it! I watched your video and I had some plantains that were definitely going to get spoilt and i used them. They were actually already getting spoilt, but, hey, it turned out right! After frying, my chinchin was dark😄 in colour! I used only 2 cubes of cane sugar. My chinchin turned out soft also, think I put too much butter and too much plantain for my 2 cups of flour, so my dough was quite soft and sticky. I also think this made it absorb oil during frying. All the same I loved it and would definitely make it again! Thanks so much for the recipe!😊

Thank you so much for subscribing, I appreciate you ❤️❤️❤️. It keeps for long tho but not sure for how long cos it doesn’t last a day in my house, everyone goes in and it’s finished in minutes. But if you make very large batches, store in air tight containers, it should keep for over 2 weeks

thanks ma, i tried it today but it wasn't thick then i roll in into little ball shape and it was perfect. i bought half derica of flour and didn't use the whole flour then 3ripe plantain with 2spoon of butter. pls tell me my mistake so that when next i tried it i will get the chin chin shape. thanks much love
