Episode 1 :
Sandrine and Jean-François are indebted to the tune of 22,000 Euros.
They were always in debt. Financial worries, living with since they met. The reason: they always consumed on credit. Washing machine, refrigerator, car ... they never bought anything cash. Result, after 10 years together, Sandrine and Jean-François are indebted. They owe money to their banks, credit organizations, their families ...
The total amount of their debt now stands at around 22,000 Euros. A sum which they are not even certain, as Sandrine, who is responsible for accounts from home, prefers to stay in the dark so as not to face reality. Then, from the 10th of the month, she goes shopping with the knowledge that his account is already in the red, aggravating the financial situation. Jean-François, he is drowning in work. He has two jobs, plus a volunteer firefighter activity. It is never at home, and the feeling of working for nothing, for most of his salary share in the repayment of the interests of its many appropriations. But the reality is that the family especially risk every moment of losing everything. Their claims are in the hands of bailiffs who daily threaten to come seize all their property.
