Pretty much everyone who has made it gives motivational talks but few will give people a break when they approach them. Whether this is done via a DM or message, it is often the same result of being ignored or being told to subscribe to their mailing list or program. Then ultimately you need to fix that friend, start with reading some books to upgrade your mind in your spare time, there's a great book called psycho cybernetics that I would recommend. If you don't currently have any fitness goals then figure out what your ideal physique looks like, you may want to build muscle you may just want to slim down whatever it may be that you desire, you need put together a plan to get there and work on it daily, as that in the long run is going to build impenetrable self confidence.
