It's Dread Hunger and today someone keeps punching the bomb! In Dread Hunger we play as arctic explorers trying to guide our boat through the deadly Arctic but, to make things worse, two of our crewmates are traitors. This is an 8 player game of survival and deception where the crew of a ship are in danger from the traitors among the group.

I personally loved seeing Bouphe back on the main channel with everyone! She has a great chemistry with the regular goons. Honestly, it's just a pleasure to see these fine folks interacting with each other, noob or not. I don't usually come to Yogscast for the pro plays anyway, I come for the likeable people having fun together :)

I love how Spiff keeps setting off explosives and they think they parked the ship on something

It's because he didn't know yet that more gunpowder=more holes in the ship at once. He kept setting off little 1 gunpowder baby explosions that were more of a waste of resources than anything else. Considering that no one caught onto Spiff's antics for a while, had he really made those sabotage count he could've sunk the ship before anyone noticed. The nitro punch play wound up being MUCH funnier though. 😂😂😂

This episode has such a diverse pool of accents it kind of adds to the authenticity of a ragtag groups of explorers. A Scot, a Dutchman, a northern lass, a sassy American, a couple of posh fellows from the south, and a Spiff.

I'm really loving this game! It's like Project Winter where since the map is so big you get different factions and alliances forming between the players and each perspective tells a completely different story/gameplay angle! Ravs/Zylus/Lewis/Duncan were definitely the MVP's here with the explosives plan

Hitting/shooting the nitro while it's being carried really should blow it up. I've seen a lot of games where people shoot the nitro while it's being carried and they end up just outing themselves for no result.

This game is great, it really takes the best parts of Project Winter (survival, frozen setting) and Among Us (tasks/sabotage, deception) and puts them in a TTT-like first person perspective.

I feel like you have to rely REALLY hard on fragmented communications and sabotage style tactics since it's super hard to just kill people because everyone has an extra life. As people get better at the game I think it's only going to get harder and harder for the Thralls to get wins. It'll be interesting to see new maps and if they add more abilities and tools for Thralls to get wins later in development.

The map isn't big\long enough for traitors to do much. They probably managed in the beginning because they were all newbies (plus there was some help for the video content).

One thing i haven't noticed them do yet, is place down totems to enhance the power of bone charms. With a few totems down you can summon enough cannibals to down someone fairly easily, which means that they lose their first live making them a safe target to kill later

@@scoople6 first person probably adds more “character” and “emotion” to each person’s perspective. Being able to see where someone is actually looking instead of a “top down” view. The POV would add a dramatic feel if they were to realise something and they pan towards a person etc
