Thanks for addressing this bro!!! As a fellow WWE fan, I’ve dealt with this before and it’s always super annoying. Yes, I get WWE is scripted and the outcome of every match is predetermined, and sure, all the wrestlers might throw open fist punches and whatnot, but everything else is 100% real. There’s no faking the pain of pro wrestling, especially when the wrestlers get legit injured and put on the shelf for a certain period of time. It’s obviously evident that people who call WWE and / or Pro Wrestling as a whole “fake” clearly aren’t fans. Telling a wrestling fan that wrestling is fake is one thing, but saying it to an actual wrestler is another. 🤦‍♂️

My dad took me to Madison Square Garden to watch my first WWF event. And I thought Hulk Hogan was a superhero, and I thought these guys were really trying to kill each other and I loved it. Then you grow up and realize it’s a work and that these guys really aren’t trying to kill each other and then you love it for another reason. Every match should end with both wrestlers going to the hospital. But they don’t and that’s a testament to how talented these athletes are.

As a fan of wrestling for over 20 years, you hit the nail on the head. I have been saying this for years and so tired of people questioning that an adult would watch it or saying it is fake, it is scripted, not fake, there is a difference. These guys unlike actors in Hollywood, put their bodies on the line and put themselves at risk of injury and often work hurt. How many Hollywood stars do any of that? Or act all year round? Wrestling is like Hollywood but way more extreme. So to think that it is ok to watch movies and tv, but not wrestling, that is because first off they do not understand it and second they are a judgemental a-holes that think they know something when in reality they have no clue at all and are just mean haters.
