Glory to Jesus for this message. I was having nonstop discord with my boss everyday. Little did I know that it was tied to talking about everything my boss did wrong everyday. After I forgave him and repented of the gossip at home, I noticed an immediate change. My boss doesn't even look at Me how He was looking at me before. (No more drama and discord at work and now I'm just another coworker again) (I don't want to go into detail but yeah it's way better at work and I now enjoy going to work again) The first 15 seconds of the video when it was like stop saying everything about your boss was so spot on.

I do need to be more careful about who I allow into my life and pray for them at a distance, as a saved Christian it hurts my heart to see people who I enjoyed being around in times past and then see that they reject the Light and the Holy One all because of their selfishness; personally I don't want to watch as they speed faster to hell. Thank you, Gabby. Your points convicted me about the power of our words. The Lord has been teaching me through my own experiences that negative talk and complaining have consequences. It’s important to remember that this heart posture literally kept an entire Israelite generation from entering the Promised Land. To echo the scripture you quoted, Matthew 15:18 says, “But the things that come out of a person’s mouth come from the heart, and these defile them.” In Myron Golden’s video, “You Don’t Need a Good Idea; You Need a God Idea,” (highly recommend watching, by the way), he explains that every fact or situation in life has two sides. We get to choose to focus on the positive or negative. Focusing on the positive produces faith, energy, and connection to Holy Spirit, while focusing on the negative produces doubt, anxiety, and feeling powerless. Excellent reminders in the video Gabby. Let’s avoid negative talk, gossip, or complaining, so we don't miss what God wants to give us and do through us in life.

Awesome message! I think a lot of people talk way too much and don't realize what they are doing. I'm personally not a big talker. I think more than I speak. My question is (and maybe this could be a topic for another video, idk) How can we handle people that are constantly talking all the time and don't like to listen much? I struggle with this from people in my life. I'm not sure if they are lonely or just crave attention, or what it is really. I usually have to get away from them for awhile and go somewhere else alone. They aren't bad people or anything like that. They just never seem to stop talking about things. God bless.

What an important message you gave us Gabby about how much our mouth and the power of our tongue can have. I love how you used actual scripture from that Proverbs verse to prove the point 😊🙏🏽 Also what's in our heart will also come out when we speak. I definitely had the learn the hard way on not sharing everything God is doing in my life blessing wise unless it's with someone who is going through something similar as me. It's best in most cases to let people find out what we are doing on their own. May God continue to guide you in what he wants you to do in life. Be blessed!

I think the thing about the parables is that many of them are kinda simple, but what would be tough is describing what He means in metaphor without the metaphor. Like how God actually does what he does might be a very drawn out long conversation, so parables were best....maybe.

The context is about eating unclean things and stuff like that. And not making another brother or sister stumble... But this verse really stood out too me for some reason recently and is kinda relevant to what you were talking about in this video. @40hands112 ай бұрын
Thank you for sharing this encouraging video, Gabby. This is an area where I struggle at times so I'm glad I checked this out. Here are some notes I wanted to share from Proverbs 10:17-32-Silence is golden: “In the multitude of words there wanteth not sin: but he that refraineth his lips is wise” (Proverbs 10:19). When we speak, let us say something and let the people to whom we speak feel that their heart is lighter and that the heavenly horizons are nearer and clearer. Whatever you do, beware of uttering slander: “He that hideth hatred with lying lips, and he that uttereth a slander, is a fool” (Proverbs 10:18). You know, from your own experience, what is acceptable; see to it that your mouth brings forth wisdom and grace (10:31-32). These passages of Scripture emphasize the importance of the speech of a good man, but also of his mental stability. His hope is gladness (10:28) as he walks in God’s way and gathers strength (10:29). Though he may be cast down, God favors him with strength: “Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the LORD upholdeth him with his hand” (Psalm 37:34). 10:18-32 is set up in what is referred to as chiastic fashion. The parallelism used in the narrative helps set up mirror images of each of the themes presented. The tongue is introduced, which is distinctive in a wicked person and positive in a righteous one (10:18-21). Then the stability of the righteous and wicked is mentioned (10:22-25). Then laziness is introduced (10:26). Now examine how these themes flip on themselves narratively during the closing passages (10:27-30; 31-32). I hope this was helpful in some capacity. Blessed be.

Gabby the book you share with me amazing. Lord Jesus gave you and me two very important commandments Love ♥️ God the Father with all our hearts ♥️ minds Soul and we are to Love one another as we Love our Father. The book is a true reflection of the Word . When the Pharisees brought our Lord Jesus a prostitute our Lord showed the woman compassion we are all broken people. Yet he said to the people around him only those that haven’t sinned may throw stones they all left Our Lord said go you are forgiven and the Lady left. Thank you for being my sister. I Love Jesus for without his unconditional Love and sacrifice we wouldn’t see our Father or him or the Holy Spirit. I work in Healthcare compassion and empathy are a requirement. Gabby Love is the biggest word in the world 🌍 and as a sister in Jesus I give you Love. Our Lord Jesus is the biggest example of Love. God Bless You ♥️🌻🤗🙏📖
