Today we decided to use the Hemlok over the R301 or the Spitfire. I haven't used it in a while but this gun SHREDS! At range you can put it into single fire mode and rip people's shields off, and at closer ranges you can utilise the burst fire mode to drop enemies quick. What do you think of this gun?

@@empsycho100 I think the Hemlok would really shine if they made select fire hop up work on it to go on full auto like the prowler... but still single shot is great for long range... my problem is with the burst to be honest... even though I shoot the R-301 pretty good I always end up missing with Hemlok and I don't know why... lol... it's very stable but I still mess up my shots in burst mode... it's one of those big mysteries of the world that will never be solved like atlantis and the loch ness monster...

I assume the Hemlock is more useful on PC over console. I've played Apex almost daily since the week it was released and on PS4 there are better alternatives without question. Up the damage by 10% and then it'd be a contender.

If you have a fast trigger finger and put it on single fire with the left arrow button on the controller, you essentially have a full automatic. Good thing is you don’t need an attachment for that single fire

Idk what these comments are about, if you cant use the hemlock in both single or burst fire mode then just dont use it but i prefer burst mode over single fire only due to the fact that burst fire feels like having a Halo BR in apex & i wanna say its a psychological thing with me cuz when i play with it i fucking love it, got my 'Mirage's Wake' with it so yea its stuck with me since then, i will prioritze the Hemlock over any gun in apex no BS. Its just an amazing gun if used properly, then again so is almost every gun in apex but thats just my preference.

Placing the Hemlock in single fire is the best underrated weapon when you don’t have like a spitfire but the hemlock single fire is more accurate and your shots hits especially from long range I also shoot faster than the burst so I prefer single fire on the hemlock

When you're using the peacekeeper, I noticed you ADS and take your shot. The precision choke is great, but when you were at that distance doing 19 and 30, I think not ADS'ing is your best chance at doing Max damage. It is a shotgun after all. Appreciate your videos, not often do I see people recording console 😁

You have to take in the spread of a shotgun. Hip firing it has a larger spread thus increasing the chance of a hit, but lowering the chance of multiple "pellets" from that shot hitting decreasing the total damage dealt. Since ADS tightens the shot group, its about the only way to deal decent damage to a target in the distance with a shot gun, well unless youre lucky and the one "pellet" that hits is a head shot.

The Hemlock is definitely underrated!... On Titanfall 2 it shredded people and on Apex all you need is a barrel stabilizer and a decent sight and it lasers people

And the whole point of a shotgun is being able to just hip fire at close range and still hit your target, but with the choke you can't hip fire and even when aiming down the sights you have to be DEAD accurate

Protip: on the bottom left of the inventory you can see have your team has equipped(armor shield bag and armor) so you know if to ping or not an item, as they'd already have it

Hey iTemp, can you give me advice on how to convince my friend to go into fights? So he doesn't want to go into fights until AFTER we collect all the weapons/addons/shields whatever before going into a fight but i tell him that is a bad idea because people would have already looted most of the equipment so if we can get to them first we can loot their boxes. Because what happens and it happens everytime we are in the late game of the match where we are maybe the last five squads or maybe the final two squads and we are killed instantly... and he keeps thinking it's not us its we don't find the stuff we want and that is because it's get looted before we have a chance to loot it but I can't convince him to go into the fights to kill others to get THEIR loot... so I don't know if you can give me some advice but any would do D:

Hemlok one of my favorite guns. It is so smooth with lv 3 or 4 barrel stabilizers. I’m surprised no one likes the gun. Sure it is burst fire, but you get a lot of damage if you land all the shots. Is it bad that I actually don’t like the r-301?

You mentioned that maybe you should stick closer to your team because they weren't bad this time, but you should probably think about staying closer to them regardless of their skill level. I only say that because if you're significantly better than your team (and I've seen you play, you usually are) then it's going to be much easier for them to stay up if you're able to target the players targeting them. Even if their aim isn't spot on, keeping more people up means more people can be participating in the fight.

The issue with the Hemlok is that it takes TONS of skill. It's better with single fire, but the burst is much easier to use. It fires incredibly fast if you can make it fire fast, but one slip up and you're screwed. Because of this, the prowler is just better. You can get the select fire and make it full auto which makes it faster with the same option of burst. It's way easier to use which means more kills and more damage

This is my primary weapon. I usually win when I have it fully tricked out. Plus, he's using the hemlock all wrong. Use the single fire rate for longer range. It almost works like a sniper rifle.

To all my fellow console players you can increase the efficiency you fire semi auto weapons by removing the dead zone on your shoot/ads in the options meaning you don’t need to push the trigger down all the way to fire a bullet just slightly pushing it will do

At the very beginning of the game Rich says that he was glad that he didn't have to land on the edge of the map this time (as he had several times before, it seems). But my experience has been that the edge of the map usually are designated as High Tier loot and the middle areas are often "Mid Tier" loot. So if the loot is better why would he NOT want to go to the edges? Any help appreciated.

It's faster to get good loot from people you kill than it is to loot 15 buildings. By the time you're done there's only 25 people left. I've just played so many BR games so looting becomes a bit tedious. I just want to shoot people really.
