1:23 unless you're below like th10, then it's very useful (that the reason why i skip th7 and rush to th8 on my minis, since at th8 you can just buy 25k of dark elixir, that's like 2-3 upgrades of barb king, saves a lot of time)

btw Training Potions offer the most value when there's a gold pass and the event pass to farm resources past TH11, Sneaky Goblins in Crystal league will let you train full armies for 5 minutes, add jump spells and invisibility/haste spells for easier looting

I use earthquakes, a couple of rages and invis spells. Ive been trophy climbing/farming using sneaky goblins and super wallbreakers with minimal effort. Im in masters right now.

Since th14 my priority on what to buy changes. Research, pet potions are the 2 most important for me. Using the raid medals to get out of a hole is another way to look at it.

I can point out a very specific use case for clock tower potions: in my case I had a rune of builder gold and elixer in the pass, but already 1 from last month. I bought 1x clock tower to finish the storage upgrade so I had enough resources to do a 3mil upgrade (the builders hall 8->9, since the 20% of gold pass runs out tomorrow and then I'd not have enough, again) and that way I did not have to use a rune for yet having 2.7 mil sitting around doing nothing. Yet I do think that it's more of a "I'm pushing 6th builder AS FAST AS I CAN" kinda thing. But I had all my hero equipment maxed for th11, and still like 600 glowy ores thanks to the soccer event. Of course a unique use case.

Yes, there's sometimes unique use cases depending on a players individual progression! Clock tower potion can definantly have use especially for trying to get the 6th builder aswell!

Use the raid medals for clan castle troops so you can climb quicker, that way you get more loot and more minerals with star rewards, use them to buy cheap potions and sell them for gems too

Clock tower is great if you are playing a lot of second village to get 6th builder (you dont), these upgrade timers are very long, and you buy those to sell for gems if you dont need anything else. Resourse potion is terrible, it gives a bit less gold\elixir than straight up buying +some dark, however it requires maxed out collectors and them not being attacked, which is impossible if you are inactive player. Also ores could be explained a bit better, their ratios to price, compared to gem buy, event buy, cw and daily bonuses
