Started the day down about $180, then almost $1k, and it took over an hour to be right and end up a scant $85. But I'd rather be up almost nothing than down $1100. Hate days like this.

In general, is best just to cut the loser before it balloons too big.. battling back to end the day up $85 after being down $1100 is not sustainable in this game for a long time.. we may get lucky once, twice but it eventually catches up to us and bites us! Careful man..

Hi, in your next videos, you can try to remove the sessions indicator. It causes low visibility for people with poor vision. It also makes your charts look cluttered.

I know it sounds cliché but journal your trades. For my strategy, It works best from the open till 11 AM. I found that I give everything back and some after 11am. Even though I’ve had success after the lunch hours.

@TheBkdot thanks for the feedback. I used to do best right at open but the last couple of weeks, I start red and spend the day making it back. It's so annoying. All I need is like 250. I lose 1k and most days will end green but today I ended red. I always have to trade distracted and i do decent in spite of that but some times the distractions mess me up man. If I can make back the 1k, why can't I just make the damn 250 from jump and be done

Goddamn 400 bucks in commission off of 8 trades? Hence why I like Futures. Same trades would been $30

You cannot compare the costs. I had 20 contracts on $NVDA with net equity of around $40,000. A quality move of 30-50% profits which is very common for NVDA nets me close to $20,000. If you had perfect entries on NQ today you maybe caught 80 points between the range today. You would have needed to trade with 15 minis to have that same profit potential. Commissions is no reason to like futures more.

@VincentDesiano 15 NQ contracts would be $35 round trip. 15 NQ Futures contracts controls a notational value of 5.4 million dollars and 80 points using those 15 NQs would gain $24,000. So more notational value, bigger gains and less commissions, 60/40 capital gains tax advantages and only $500 margin per contract. Hence why Futures are better

@haneyguitarinstruction6260 I would never trade something just because of a commission fee. The emotional control of trading 15 NQ contracts is something I can guarantee few can control. Worrying about commissions is like worrying how much you’ll pay in electricity at your mansions or how much gas will cost in your Ferrari. But to each their own.
