Do your job or get fired. I remember when it was this simple.

Just a thought if you you at meta programs this is an option vs procedure solution there is more to it and an options manager is completely different than a procedure manager which is the most prevalent kind. Just some thoughts

Isn't this the sad case in nearly every company. It is the fact that 1 in 30 people are Narcissist Personality Disorders. It can be such a hazard to the Company and miserable for their staff or peers. HR and Sr Mgmt in this era should be trained to this topic.

I have one of these, who is almost manic and fully enjoys creating intrigues and problems. The boss has a weak personality that can't manage conflict, so he ignores it at all price. I feel helpless sometimes....

I’ve seen managers take this approach and it usually leads to frustration for everyone. It makes employees feel like a manager is a useless person who serves no purpose. I don’t ask my manager anything unless I truly cannot find a solution myself. Sometimes a manager has to step in otherwise why do we need you?

I wish women execs weren't so difficult. I feel it's bc women had to act a certain way to reach mgmt level in public companies. The self-focused behavior that helped them climb the corp ladder is actually detrimental to managing ppl & fulfilling an exec role. You should do a video on dealing w women's conflict, bc it's more personal, emotional & difficult than this model

Ms Tango You must have information to apply as alternative options. Also, understand to what level of Challenge you are experiencing. Google Narcissist Personality Disorder in the Workplace. 1 in 30 are NPD at varying levels.

So, almost all of the women I know who are working professionals say they would much rather have a man as their boss than a woman...my experience as a manager is that women are better than men in getting the day to day work of the office done but they also bring a lot of drama to the office. With men, its the opposite, they are not the best at getting the day to day work done but they bring little or no drama to the office. Dont know what it means exactly , I think it is just one of the differences between men and women in the workplace.
