Aw, look at Tayto's tail go! 😂 He sure loves his dock dives - based on his videos I've seen on social media that Amy has posted.

Your syyster is SO lucky that Addy and Ash like to be groomed. My Gunnar, who looked a lot like Trigg, haaaaaaated to be groomed. He would hiss and growl, bite and try to slice our arms to pieces. We tried every tool and every method.

that's how mine are/were. i might get 2-3 swipes and then it's a disaster.

We had the purple Kong one, same material I believe. Three cats with all different coat and different in liking grooming but none of them eaten to be brushed either it, unfortunately. It’s almost like it sort of pulls on the hair…

yes, i would agree that it pulls on the hair - so i think that's why it works better in a cat that is more naturally oily like addie's vs. ash's.

@@Floppycats True.Same but I trick them into it; one gets mats easily and I don’t want that for him. So they both love to be combed around the head and then sometimes I just make a bigger stroke or use one comb on the head and the other comb is on the but. The belly is done when I clip their nails, weekly, by letting them stand and then comb whatever I can manage. Lots of praise and treats afterwards. If they wouldn’t mat so easily I would never do it. It should be just fun 🤷🏼♀️

@@sim-one I actually wrote Bailey Brush about your inquiry because I get the Kong Zoom Groom reference a lot. Here's what they said: "Basically the kong brand has two kinds of brushes that are similar (sort of) but of a different material and different spacing. The main difference between the Kong purple one is that it’s rubber. Rubber is porous, grips hair, and pulls on it aggressively. It would be uncomfortable in comparison. Being rubber, it will dry out, deteriorate, and crumble into white powdery bits. They also have flat ends and are not as comfortable because they grip and drag against the skin due to the nature of rubber. The Bailey brush is made of high-quality silicone. It’s kitchen-grade, so it’s durable and slicker. It’s made for sensitive skin types and is resistant to bacteria. It’s the same material that high-quality silicone spatulas are made from, for example. So it won’t scrape or pull. The texture of the silicone grips loose hair but does not pull out any healthy hair, and because the spacing is wider than that of the nubs on a pet rubber glove, it’s harmless. Quality silicone allows it to be longer lasting and not deteriorate and dishwasher safe without deterioration."

@@Floppycats Thank you for enquiring! Read it and I see the difference between the two. I’ll have a look at it in my hands. BUT I think I’d need to be able try it before buying/keeping. To many brushes have come in and went out, sadly enough…

@@sim-one I appreciate your inquiry, as I learned more about The Bailey Brush. I know what you mean about brushes coming and going. I know for sure, Charlie would hate The Bailey Brush because of the texture of his coat. I think Trigg would have liked it and the massage aspect would have been going for him.

I have a Zoom Groom that looks like that Brush. I hear Sweetie
@Floppycats4 ай бұрын
It is similar. I reviewed a Zoom Groom years ago. This Bailey Brush is more ergonomicaly designed and material isn’t as stiff
@baileybrush4 ай бұрын
Similar but different! Unlike rubber brushes, the bailey brush is high quality silicone making it resistant to bacteria, more flexible and durable and lasts up to 3X longer than the conventional rubber brushes. 🧡 It's also patented, dishwasher safe and ergonomic too. Are we bragging? :)
