It is important for us men to have standars as well. I agree with everything you said, specially the part about not fearing rejection, which is a HUGE part of why men fail with women. I dated a woman for 7 years, She persued me, and not the other way around. I was still young so I figured why not. It was great at first, sex never wavered in the 7 years, that was never an issue. Slowly though I began to see what the final outcome was. It was about her established life, and that she didn't have to adjust. I was the one that had to make all the adjustments. Only response I got was 3 years later with her texting me "enjoy being alone the rest of your life".
