One can chop almost all vegetables very well with an electric chopper. I have the one from Borosil and it works great. But one can't chop onions too well in an electric chopper because it leaves water while chopping and the onions tend to smell and taste weird. Best to use a hand chopper for onions. I have the manual chopper from E Cosmos and it does its job. But again in a manual chopper you can't chop ginger, garlic and green chillies too well Both have their advantages and limitations. I use both frequently.
