"Perfectionism has kept me safe, but is has also kept me trapped". I resonate so much with this statement. In my search for perfection, I've always felt in a bubble, a place only I could use to be safe, but where nobody else could enter. Only recently I've learned to feel unsafe and imperfect, and this journey is leading me to a better understanding of myself and the people around me. I'm going to watch this video every time I feel like perfectionism is pulling me down 🙏🏼 PS: I was watching this video at lunchtime, but had to let my pasta cool out because I didn't want to miss a single clip or a single word lol

I can absolutely relate-I painted the same room three times in a month because it was not perfect, and at one point, all of my perfection seemed blant, and I literally lived as a dead me in real life. You are not perfect, so stop trying to be one. Instead, be content and healthy and value your flaws.

Thank you for making this video 🫶 it came at a perfect time as i'm navigating through a lil quarter life crisis (career-wise) and i'm trying to not keep myself constantly busy by learning new hard skills as a distraction. i hope that once my mind quiets down and i've done more inner work then the right opportunities will open up. but sometimes i'm still torn between waiting for the 'right' opportunity or just trying something out and then making it 'right' for me (because regardless of the situation, what i make of it eventually boils down to my attitude and perspective, i think).
