as a senior i can surely say that so many people must have told you that class 10th is easier than 9th and 9th is tough as hell let me tell you what it is technically true but not practically..yes 9th was harder but not anymore as the syllabus has been reduced alot the toughest chapter of the class 9th is not there in course which is diversity..abt maths all the chapters are easy except polynomial and circles these two particular chapter not hard but they are just lengthy if you give sufficient time too these two chapter you will find it easy then comes surface area and volume..litreally half of the chapter has been deleted so just take a chill pilll remember all the formulae and make your calculation strong..the one thing which i found hard in 9th was physics i swear i cried over this particular subject alot..but at the end of the session it became my fav in thing in science..the only thing i can say is pls dont try to mug up physics you must have conceptual understanding of each and every topic and then i can assure you physics is nothing but fun..chemistry of class 9 is base of class 10th so pls focus on it strictly same for biology..ik the syllabus of bio is very less..guys give 2 to 3 months on tissue coz what i did was i mugged it up in start..don not try to complete your syllabus till aug sep..just complete it by nov dec..give sufficient time to everything i got 87% in 9th because i was very sick during finals so i didnt get time to revise things plus one thing that i regret is i didnt use to sleep before exam due to which i was not in my sense during exams thats why my percent is like this otherwise i would have scored around 95 but its fine i know mistakes now and as a senior i would recommend you all that dont do these things i hope this helps you.

As a senior, I dont think you need any reference book. Especially in terms of hindi, sst, english you dont need any reference book. In maths, you can use a reference like RD or RS, but i dont think that is needed. Even practicing science questions from anywhere is good, you can find imp questions anywhere. FIRST COMPLETE THE NCERT FIRST!! DONT DIRECTLY MOVE TO REFERENCE. I scored 98.8% in 9th with reference (RD) only in maths and no other reference. All the best ❤ EDIT: Okay so now I've completed about 2 months of 10th and I've realised the importance of competitive exams like NTSE, and yes I AM preparing for it, so I will now request students, those who want to give NTSE, please prepare thoroughly in 9th, your sst, science and maths must be strong as both 9th and 10th classes come in NTSE. And if you do want to prepare, then you must use some kind of reference or question bank, like Disha or S.Chand or Pradeep etc in science, RD or RS in Maths, and Ncert enough in sst, so that you can study thoroughly in 9th.

I've got 98.8% in my 9th So I think I am eligible to tell you that which books are good for your preparation-: Mathematics-: Solve NCERT very first, Then go for RS and then Rd is not much necessary but If u want u can opt it. Science-:After NCERT, S Chand for physics, VK or pradeep for chemistry, VK for biology is enough. Sst-: NCERT, Xam Idea are more than enough for your sst preparation guys. English-: Listen to your lectures very carefully in class and take notes no matter its grammar or NCERT. Hindi-: Listen lectures carefully and practice NCERT questions. Read chapters as much as u can guys. Personally what I experienced, there is not much need for sample papers in 9th but if u want u can go for any sample paper all are equally good don't waste ur money and run for just big names. As a class 9 student I disagree I am a very serious JEE aspirant and I have solved Cengage for physics and mathematics. I also believe you all should study for knowledge rather than studying for marks in boards, studying for boards won't be helpful anyways. Some books I will recommend are class 11th NCERT for 9th students and class 12th NCERT for 10th students. If those are too difficult you would want to try PEARSON IITJEE series it's pretty good too.

I as an online batch-9th-grade passer Telling u this cause i realised the first 2 points in 11th and the last point in 10th,when it was a little bit late. Guys, -mole concept achhe se karlena cause 11th mein poora ek chapter uspe based hai aur 9th ka base nhi clear kiya toh 11th mein struggle karna padega -Physics ki accelerated motion wale chapter ki 3 equations by heart yaad karlo -sab kuchh samajhkar karna cause u cant just mug up so many formulas,hence samjhoge...toh formulas yaad karne ki zaroorat bhi nhi padegi -sst ke jab chapters kar rhe ho,tab notes banale..apne school ke notes/questions pe depend mat rehena..sab book se aayega.Hence book se padhke apne aap notes banao.(ik its difficult but utni der baithna padega) Andddd...inse ek baar physics padhli na bhai..kasam se kahin aur se karne ki zaroorat nhi padegi,one of the only teacher who matches ur vibe to teach u!!

Listen up guys! Am your senior who’s moving into class 10 2024 to 2025 batch. My advice: Get yashchanth for science, all in one for English, rs or rd for math - make sure to move on to rs or rd or Schant physics ONLY after ur completely thorough with ncert. Also, focus on maths ! Class is maths is easy and it will be even easier if ur class nine base is perfect. Also, don’t take stress, that’s something I learnt the hard way. Knowledge! Yk 9th and 10th classes are actually very easy..so please try to get knowledge as you can score marks easily and if you don't score well it doesn't matter (go thru deleted chpts as well for science and maths)
