1. Know what to say no to 2. Say no to energy vampires - create good environment for yourself 3. Don’t get advice from people who haven’t achieved what you want 4. Don’t blame anyone from anything 5. Don’t say yes to everything - you can’t possibly do everything 6. Don’t be a prisoner to your device - create a plan - set your goals - turn off notifications on your phone 7. Don’t read your book, study them - implement the book as soon as you read something in a book - take action on the things you learn instantly 8. Don’t compare yourself to others - be yourself - only competition is your old self

I want to do something bigger I don't give a damn about retiring so now I learn from brilliant people like you who are 20 years younger than me. Hi Dan, I recently came across your content, and I just wanted to say thank you. Your teachings on self-investment and maximizing time have really struck a chord with me as I’m starting to work on myself in a meaningful way. I was wondering-have you ever thought about creating a self-development course? Your videos are so impactful, but I’d love to see a deeper dive into some of your concepts, paired with actionable steps. Topics like: - How to live out leadership - How to communicate effectively for each part of life - How to structure our time and life for real focus - The importance of giving back and leaving a legacy - The "correct" mindset and approach various areas of life If you ever decide to create something like this, I’d love to know. I think so many people, myself included, could benefit. And if you’d be up for it, I’d be honored to be part of the group that tests it out and gives feedback-it’s a journey I’m excited to be on! Thank you again for everything you do! Your work matters, and it’s already made a difference for me. Best, Christopher

Building wealth involves developing good habits like regularly putting money away in intervals for solid investments.Starting early is simply the best way of getting ahead to build wealth , investing remains a priority . I learnt from my last year's experience , I am able to build a suitable life beause I invested early ahead this time .

Dan, I am so thankful to have came across your channel. Everything that you talk about is exactly what I’m striving for, from friends, health, business, and personal growth. My husband and I bought a building last year (paid cash so no mortgage)to start my pet grooming business. As you know it can be slow going to getting it up and running and bringing in and retaining clients. I’m not a social media person and I never have been, but my husband wants me to become more social media focused for the business. I’m just not feeling it because I think it will waste my time when it could be spent in other areas. Can I please get your opinion on that? What would you recommend I do to get the word out about my business without using social media? I advertised in my local paper(it’s just for specific areas not the entire state so to speak) and it reaches approximately 12,000 people. I want to advertise on blip billboard, but my husband says that’s not necessary. I value your opinion and advice since you have been established for 27 years. So, unbeknownst to you, you have become my mentor and I thank you for that 😁

6:05 "Sometimes the most productive thing you can do is to say No" -Steve Jobs *-isn't documented as an exact quote from him. However, Jobs often emphasized the importance of focus and saying "no" to distractions. In a 1997 Apple Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) talk, he explained this idea clearly: “Focusing is about saying no. You've got to say no, no, no. And when you say no, you piss off people.” He believed that by saying "no" to good ideas, you could avoid diluting your efforts and instead focus on only the best ideas that aligned with your goals. So while he may not have used those exact words, the sentiment is consistent with his philosophy.

Unfortunately, not all of us were financially literate early. I was 35 when I finally educated myself and started taking steps. I went from $176,000 in debt with zero savings or retirement to now, 2 years later, fully debt-free and over $1000,000 net worth. I know that doesn't SOUND like a lot, but I'm incredibly proud of it. Now I'm fast-tracking my wealth building (investing $400,000 annually) and don't owe a dime to anyone. It's a good feeling!

Being in control of my life. 4) Don’t say yes to everything. Learn to say no. Only yes to that aligns you are 5) Don’t be a prison to your device. Build a plan for your life. Turn off your notifications. Go make life interesting scheduled in your calendar 6) Study books. The value of information is in its implementation . Take execution 7) Don’t compare yourself with other. I am only competing with yesterday me.
