After watching this video, my double bass technique and speed became a lot better. Matt's words and playing have a lot more impact on me than I realize

I’ve been playing drums in the praise band at my church for almost 20 years. Matt has been my inspiration for years, I remember when the DW9000 came out and I had to have it because that’s what Matt uses! Started with a huge Pearl set then got the DW collectors after saving up in 2014 and I still play on that kit. Much love to you Matt and thanks for the shout out on the live stream earlier this month!

Really nice to see Rescue and Restore songs being played here, still have yet to see a playthrough of Treatment from that record though. Matt, please please consider this!

I don’t like the music, I don’t like this style of play. But the guy does it extremely well, and he seems like a very good and inspiring person to be around. Both thumbs up for Matt Greiner!

I really love comments like this and respect it. Metal can be an abrasive genre but I love seeing other people embrace the musicality of it.

I discovered Matt through DW and Zildjian, and discovered and met Dustin through Kiesel. I need to listen to more ABR. This was also some great advice!

I find myself kinda stuck in a self fulfilling prophecy; I can't get myself to practice because I don't see myself as that good of a drummer. But in limiting my practicing, I don't get any better. Very lately I've tried to get out of that negative spiral, but it's a long journey. Hearing drummers journeys and struggles is motivating.

RIP, brother Aaron 🕊 This was well put together, although when he talked about his gear, it would have been nice if he were behind the kit doing a real kit tour.

The part about farming being like mowing the lawn is spot-on correct. However, farming being something where you can turn your brain off is the OPPOSITE of my experience. Imagine spending literal HOURS on end in a swather, with nothing to do but THINK. If anything, the swather can be your "think tank."
