4:00 I bought a Telesin month ago and they updated the clip band to same than pgytech. Metalic Pin. Like bike lock. Includes body strap, and connect magnectically and turns 360 degrees too.

"claps" is a conjugated verb meaning to smack your hands together. I think the word you're looking for is clasp, which is a type of fastener.

Yes you are correct. It’s a hard word to say for me. Also my face was frozen from the cold which didn’t help lol

I got the PGYTECH yesterday, and the first thing I Did was looking for spare mounting adapter, but sadly they don't sell that. But being a standard cold shoe mount, it was easy to make one, so I made two with parts I already had, so now I have one for each of my 3 cameras I will be using, so I can swap cameras in a sec.

PGYTECH’s neck mount with the strap now becomes the chest mount lol.
@sauceywaveysaucey11 ай бұрын
i like how they updated the design but being 6'1 and 210 pounds I wish it was longer like the new telesin mounts. I guess i'm going to have to go with the telesin mount and find a strap like you showed in the old video. Thanks for this video man, currently buying a new go pro and preparing to travel and you are helping a lot with your reviews! cheers

@steve-anderson Жыл бұрын
Have you tried modifying the POV mount in any way to be able to use the Osmo Pocket 3 with it? I guess it would need to sit a little lower on your chest to not hit your chin. This is something I would like to figure out.
@ToasterVentura Жыл бұрын
I need the GoPro accessory amount then you can use the OP3 with it. There is a mounted mode on the OP3 intended for this use case.

Hey, great video! Is your running demo footage stabilized using Rocksteady+? Also, do you recommend this neck mount instead of the chesty mount for running footage?
@ToasterVenturaАй бұрын
Hi thanks for watching!! I recall I was using rocksteady + for the running to max out stability . How long is your run? Short run this is ok but long run like 5k plus I think chesty is better. Although for running I might just use a mini tripod and hold it in my hand. I find that gives better options when it comes to video angle
@pikachu-ww2ymАй бұрын
@@ToasterVentura Thanks. Is the chesty lighter and more stable than the neck mount? Your footage with the neck mount plus strap looks very stable. I'm running 10k to half marathon.
@ToasterVenturaАй бұрын
@pikachu-ww2ym nice it can get uncomfortable on long runs with something around your neck you know? Chesty seems like safer choice for long runs. I did a half marathon a month ago and i was thinking I should use a small tripod and some sort of chest mount to switch out my shots
@pikachu-ww2ymАй бұрын
@@ToasterVentura Makes sense. The other problem I noticed with people running chest mount is their hands come into the shot.

Last year I ordered the Telesin mount after watching your video and also shared the video on DJI forum, and I do really love it when you get used to how to mount it. But now I am considering this PGYTECH since it is just easier to mount, and also you get the strap included. What I struggle with the Telesin is the size, as for my plowing POV shots, it need to be outside my jacket that also covering my neck in the cold. Btw DJI released their version about a month after I had shared your video on the forum, coincidence or? 😃

I'm buying this mount because of your review, I'm a mobile Auto tech and film my jobs for documentation, currently using a phone that constantly overheats, occupies a hand, and kills the battery lol. What camera would you recommend? I have a cheap akso or whatever it is that i actually use to mount under vehicles to help in finding difficult to find noises and such... I won't be doing that with a higher quality camera lol.

Awesome man! Well if you just need a beater camera I'd say get a used GoPro 9 or something like that. The image stabilization is still good if you want to use the camera for other stuff if you change your mind. DJI Action 1 is also one of my favorite too and its super cheap now on used market. those camera will do the trick!
