This time I will show some understanding for the drivers - at 10:41 there are visible tubes/barriers in the ground used for marking of the edge of parking spots (and preventing cars from bumping into the building). So even though it's a sidewalk, the shop intentionally constructed the area to resemble legitimate parking area. Frankly - in this case I would start fining the store and not the drivers. Yes - if you see police car and cars being towed...it's not the smartest idea to enter the area. :D
4 жыл бұрын
maybe they constructed that bc people couldn´t walk around the store and had to walk out on the road just to shop.

Anyways, there's no sign that allows parking. And also, you have TWO yellow signs that tells it's a crosswalk. And very visible paint on the street. So if you know the law, it's obvious that people walk. And anywhere in the world, you can't have a sidewalk and a parking lot. It's just a matter of sense. There's no justification

I would have parked on that spot every single time and would not feel even 1% wrong about it. I would still park next day even after getting a fine a day before. That is a parking adjecebt to a sidewalk, just not properly marked. Those are typical design facilities next to commercial premises in confined urban zones. They are simply not properly defined in some cases. These activists are absolutely correct in 80% of situations but in this one they are de jure correct but de facto wrong.

I've been watching your videos for years. First of all, thank you to whomever is responsible for the English subs at the bottom. Now that I've seen thousands of people confront you good people, there is a common theme to their responses, and I think you guys should make hoodies of those common responses: "Don't you have anything better to do?" and "Get a job!" and "You can't film me without my permission!" and "This isn't a sidewalk." and so on... Then, your team could wear one of each, and when your offending drivers says that phrase, they can step forward and get a point. Keep score on the screen and make it fun. Please keep up the good work. Your message is not just local, but world wide!
