This fever dream of a show has lived in my head for thirty years or so since I last saw it, and re-watching an episode now I'm amazed that it was exactly as bizarre as I remember.

i've just cried with laughter at this and i'm 24!! this was my favourite show as a kid...had the videos and everything...Terry Wogan narrating it was genius "he gets ideas ya know"

Fond memories, one of my favourite new hobbies is watching children's TV, to help my trauma relief healing programme. At the age of 44, this far I have watched Bertha, Trapdoor, Round the twist, nightmare, morph, and now Stop it and Tidy up, absolute classic. God bless KZbin for archiving all my favourites, for free. Next im gonna hit up Count Duckalar, P.S. Anyone else doing a similar thing to me, I can highly recommend Bob Ross Joy of Painting, he hit the spot for me.

I remember going to the dentist to have some teeth taken out and I was put under gas and air that the dentist called "magic wind"...I remember having a weird trippy experience where all of the stoppit and tidyup characters were walking around the room!!!
