This is a great box and like you said, easy to do, just takes a little time. I made just one and it fits all my 6x6 papers. If I do make another one, I probably won't attach them together. I can't see covering up the sides with pretty paper only to cover them up by gluing them together. ;-) Oh, and you can use the envelope punch board to make tabs for your dividers. Thanks for a great tutorial!!

Loved this! I try every card tutorial that you do and they mostly work great! I am going to try the bags next, I've just acquired a lot of designer wallpaper sample books so I can use plain card and stick that to the card. I used double sided sticky sheets as my dbl sided tape was thin, and it worked very well, saved lots of time. I have also made an 8 x 8 one as well, a bit unwieldly on the desk when assembling due to size but it worked brilliantly. I used the dbl sided sticky sheets again. I so look forward to your tutorials. Thank you for sharing. X

Just last night I was sorting out my craft room and I have all of my 6 x 6 stacked, so I will make a couple of these today, thank you Sam. Also when I’m labelling I type a few at once just putting 3 spaces in between each one, it saves the tape.

So easy and they look great. I thought of a few random things while I was watching this, and I thought I would share even though there is nothing new here. I always run my laminating through again after I cut around it just to be extra sure the edges are sealed, If I am making a bunch of labels, I simply do them all at the same time putting a few spaces between them. When I finish, I just cut them apart, and I only have wasted tape at the beginning and the end. If you want your base to be covered underneath, just attach the boxes to the back instead of the front. The boxes should cover the unpapered area, and since your corners have the protectors on them and they are so neatly done, it will be difficult to tell what you did. If you can tell some of the uncovered chipboard is going to be visible, simply cut your paper a little bigger.

i loveeeee this sam I need a 12x12 now would love if you could give me any ideas thank you sam huggles XX
@MixedUpCraft6 жыл бұрын
I have strong plastic boxes for my 12 x 12 as they are so heavy. You would need A3 chipboard as you would need your front and back to be 12.1/4 by whatever height you wanted. Your sides are up to you but I would go to thin else it could topple over. Its hard to make storage for 12 x 12 paper packs due to their weight. :)
@joannetoone91826 жыл бұрын
thank you sam yeh got mine in plastic boxes I have 27 12x12 pads because of trimcraft lol I keep saying I'm going to cut a few to 8x8 or 6x6 and when I get the pads out I say to myself na i will leave it lol Xx
