EXACTLY what I needed, Patricia. Thank you so very much! Using option #1, the cereal box method, I just applied the concept to a file folder to customize the size for a "small" journal that outgrew the original 1/2" spine by 1 1/4" & no longer fit in the original box 🙈😅. I see MANY applications for the future as I can never seem to find boxes of the correct dimension. I completely understand your excitement and I join your happy train 🚂

You could even put the elastic holders onto the outside of the box if you wanted them to be a design element - the depth for the spine would need to be a tad more than the spine because it would be going onto the outside,,, oh, my,, I have a dozen ideas 'knocking my slippers off!' I love all of them

I also use the big file holders that already have elastic around it. I rip out the inside files to use for other crafts and I use it to hold my coffee dyes papers. Tfs

I was heading upstairs from my craft room to ask my husband if he was ready for me to make dinner when I discovered there was a new video. The hodgepodge of weird fast food items came into play as I hurried to watch the video. I'm laughing! A frozen pizza and cole slaw was on the table in twenty minutes. I think since the super bowl came on, my husband didn't really care what he was eating, so we were both happy campers! Great video!
