starting to look like my husband’s rec room he collected GI Joes since 1988 (age 8) and he got our son started in it. Some of his GI Joes are weird only sold on military bases and i never seen them anywhere else

I still have tons of 1980's GI Joe stuff; it's all opened though. Have the complete Aircraft Carrier. Unfortunately, I had about 90% of the Transformers collection and got ripped off about 12 years ago, sold them all for $2000. Was sad, was younger and uninformed at the time. Even have some original Star Wars stuff.

I can't help but ask do the collectors have concerns about what would happen to their collection should unexpected death come. Not all will have wives/children who will share common interests and they wouldn't know what to do but sell and some resellers would happily lie about their values and buy at a one low cost sum. Anyone fear that? I mean we're talking comics/figures/etc., not antique/sport cars which can obviously be auctioned off at shows with large gatherings. Can't do much with these other than ebay but I hardly got bids these days.
