Yeah, such storage makes sense if you're for some reason temporarily lives in a smaller home. But if there's because there's too much stuff for your home and you're not in process of getting a larger house in reasonable future I find it hard to see the point. Family members aren't perhaps that interested. Even if some are nice expensive quality things they could have affluent relatives who already have all the nice things they want.

I collect, I have been collecting since the age of 12, now I'm 35 and I have never met someone who appreciates antiquities as much as I do. My family and friends think I am crazy as I wear the same shirts for decades, basically until they fall apart, yet will spend rather large amounts on things they cannot begin to appreciate. This is the problem Date, you say you do this for a living so tell all us plebs, what everything is worth. If you are sitting there saying he is over pricing everything I can not just take your word for it, you need to prove it to me. Those paintings were at least $200 each, the old marionettes had to be at least $300, the painted ceramic planters had to be at least $100 each, the the Peacock is at least $150, I think he had the two ships right $150.00 and $500.00. I do not think he would have made $50,000 (because some of those items are hard to sell), but I think he would have made at least $30,000. I have always considered the prices given when they unload or load, to be from previous sales they have made on similar products, they are not genuine appraisals and should not be taken as such.
