@ 7:50 you can grab that revered spirit ash at the beginning by jumping the stacks of stone slabs that are around the base. Then you don't have to go all back around again for it later.

If I recall, that ladder is accessible from above in the rafters. But for the life of me I can't remember how I got there. On my second play through now so I'm about to find out.

To reach that ladder you need to first come from the church district entrance grace, cross the lake until you get to the main building with some fire knights inside, you'll see a submerged statue of Marika in the middle. Take the room at the end of the hall and you'll see another fire knight on a small walkway guarding the entrance to an elevator, kill him then take the elevator up to the storehouse, back section grace then the ladder will be just ahead.

Church District Highroad Site of Grace. Start at Moorth Ruins, drop down and follow the path North / North East.

It's a Journey you take by going to Moorth Ruins first and dropping down a hole there, not the Huge Giant hole but smaller one right near it. Make your way down there and follow the path. It's a long journey there but you'll see what I mean after you make your way down that hole. This will take you to Bonny Village First. From there you will run into the grace you're looking for.

I went back to the lever that made that middle go up and now I can't bring it back down to get the stuff I need. I'm locked out of a section because of.

Sometimes I just hate this game... yesterday I spent like 3 hours trying to climb up and searched from levers... maybe it's my fault that I'm not that used with souls but FUK.... really? I have to go back to another area, climb a lot of rooftops to find a way? This game sometimes is so frustrating. I came here after discovered that I spent hours of play trying to finish a side quest that was block because I burned the tree with Messmer's flame... then people say "uh duh if you look walkthroughs you are not really playing the game"... dude, I have a job, a girlfriend and a social life, that's why this kind of content is so needed (and look at the views... 30k in 4 days for a single location video) ... I have 170 hours of gameplay and I can't figure this kind of shit out... idk... Do I suck or some things like this level are just bad design? The ladder is an awful bait... Not your fault at all - I spent hours looking for that huge Ladder and wasted so much time... which is why there are so many edits in this video. I tried very hard to leave everything in without the Edits but my strategy on the editing was to remove all the fighting and cut out the random searching for stuff. Keeping the flow etc but it was very hard as I had to keep the momentum of the walkthrough going. There was so much searching, dying (this NG+10 in the footage) etc that I had to do my best to piece this thing together. TLDR: you are not alone in the pain in the ass this place was hence why I decided to make this video.
