Hey mattyyym, i wonder how do you mix your bass ? Do you use the technique of splitting the bass in two tracks, one for the low end ( really clean) and the other for the mids and high end ( distorted) or do you just use a plugin and maybe a multinàd compressor

I have done that in the past, but atm I'm just using the B7K darkglass neural DSP plugin, and using some slate digital plugins to mix

And also would you have some advice too find out rap vocals on guitar ( like in slump) i’m trying to do it for some endings i want to cover but it is really difficult to figure out because the melodies are less obvious
