beyond inappropriate, wrong and stupid. first, listen to this "great" employee's words and comments on an offical baltimore media comment: she "encourages" other muslims?: why only other muslims? why not any and all persons the believe they are qualified for the BPD to apply. why do muslims get this "free" pass. so the white guy, 25yoa with 4 yrs in the military and a college degree is not good enough hence no hijab. say hello as salam alikim? why? how about good morning? my younger brother is a retired officer for north florida. he retired in 2013. in the late 90s. he was a subdued (small) christian cross on his uniform. his supervisor the same day he began wearing it said: you have to take it off. nothing, absurdity nothing but the official uniform. no muslim, jewish or christian garb or items. they were polite and respectful, but IF he did not take it off, they would have to go with written discipline notice. he (we) were born in upstate NY. he served 5yrs in the US navy (honorable discharge) obtained his BA degree before applying to the department. his department never did a "fancy" PR video of where he was "from" with music and dancing. or pictures of him in the US navy? 2023: the same city department's front panel of their uniform looks like a billboard glowing on a state highway of: black, ethnic, gender and homosexual "promotion" patches and pins-rainbows and "all". and today "the" hijab is OK. notice a theme with mr. walker and BPD here: nothing, not one word..not a phrase or word about competence, education, experience, service to nation (US military) for all and any to apply to BPD. that they want ALL qualified personnel to apply nope: just black, female and muslim. "agenda" hiring. so much for "that" document of the US constitution that you treat, want and hire ALL persons without regards to race, ethnic or gender. and that you want the BEST qualified irrespective of race, ethnic background. yes, BPD-a great tax payer funded PR nothing video that will rarely attract the best but their attempt for a "diversity" to waste the tax payer funds on non or marginally qualified personnel. think about it: as an adult, could one imagine ms. walker at 1am going one on one with a hardened convict just released from stated prison. yes, police officers might have to do that. she would fold quicker than a staged poker game. but it OK..hence ethnic and religious listed"qualification" that are boasted and bragged about on an official city video advertisement. exactly. a waste and continued waste of tax payer funds and money of improper "agenda" hiring. hijab or NO hijab: true and obviously BPD is not interested in meeting their civil responsibly to hire only the best qualified persons by an objective standard ONLY as per state, local and federal laws and regulations.

This stories all start from the top, Chief. A good decent chief, not all departments have that. Look at San Antonio Police Dept., their a chief turned a blind eyethe officers involve regarding sex while on duty. He recommended several days of suspension for those officers. Can you respect that chief or department.
