oh wait, it gets worse....Whatever it was that allowed so many people - people in their 10s of thousands to behave so abominably and cruelly to others, whatever that thing was, is inside of you and me and every other person who has is or ever will live and all it takes to show itself is the right set of circumstances to be present.. It's easy, and feels safer to view the perpetrators of cruelty as monsters but they weren't monsters, they were human beings and while its true that there must have been psychopaths who were part of this system and drawn to work in the camps, statically they are a tiny portion of society and therefore cant be scapegoated into being responsible....therefore most of the people involved were just everyday regular people ...just like you and me - now i dont know about you but i pride myself on being a good decent man and the thought that if the proverbial stars lined up in a certain way that if im honest i am probably capable of being just as monstrous and inhuman as they were. we all are, well that thought is so uncomfortable that we pretend it isnt what it really is = truth

Just tonight there was a massive rally in Tel Aviv filled with tens of thousands of Jewish Israeli citizens protesting the war in Gaza and Netinyahu, demanding an immediate ceasefire and release of hostages - yet I've seen countless comments equating all Jews with the actions of their government, as if all Jewish people support it, when nothing could be further from the truth at this point. I'm pretty sure _that's why they posted this,_ not to buy sympathy for Netinyahu.

That was crazy. So many things about the Holocaust you don't learn about today. That 3D interactive project is amazing! I would love to ask a Holocaust survivor questions! I'm glad they are working to expand it to others beyond that.
