Egbert Perry is an Horatio Alger story. Herman J. Russell, Sr. was also a recipient of the Horatio Alger award. I worked for The Russell Company with both Herman Russell and Egbert Perry. Herman J. Russell was tough in building a company transform communities through joint ventures with minority companies and majority companies. The revitalization of communities continue through the work of The Integral Group. “The Mixed-Income Community is seamlessly integrated in communities where people have the same amenities even though they have different financial access (i.e., income).
