As part of the Good Governance - Projects 2023 microgrant competition, 5 Ukrainian communities were given the opportunity to co-finance the implementation of projects in their communities. The projects also involved cooperation with Polish partners:

Poninka hromada (Khmelnytskyi Oblast) - Plonsk Commune (Mazovian Voivodeship). The project "Eco-conscious, active youth is the key to the development of the Poninkivska community as an ecological community with an effective waste management system".
Sofiyvka hromada (Dnipro Oblast) - Grojec Commune (Mazovian Voivodeship). Project 'Arrangement of youth space on the territory of Mykolaiv starosta of the Sofiyivska community'.
Smyga hromada (Rivne Oblast) - Mszczonów Commune (Mazovian Voivodeship). Project "Improving the quality of emergency medical care services through the creation of a social and medical hub "Public Health Centre".
Tulchyn hromada (Vinnytsia Oblast) - Naklo nad Noteczą Commune (Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship). The project "Improvement of waste management processes in Tulchyn territorial community, taking into account the experience of the Naklo nad Noteczem Commune".
Each project is unique, but all municipalities were united by a common goal - to improve the quality of life in their communities by developing a systemic solution to the most pressing problems facing their residents.
The Good Governance Project is co-funded by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland and is being implemented within the framework of the U-LEAD programme, a multilateral action of the European Union and its member states: Germany, Poland, Denmark and Slovenia. The project is a part of the 'Bridges of Trust' initiative.
