I had a feeling this was going to happen when Matilda did not get back in. Good luck for you both, separated, you on the dangerous side with a life of adventure and Matlida home, safe and settling. The reasons are different but so many young women do not see their time on a bike forever. I am in the mid 40s now and I love my bikes and also my journeys on my bike... but everything has its time. It is an adventure but the biological clock runs and the satisfaction of an adventure comes to an end on a certain time. I know that many readers will maybe dislike my comment but there are not so many relationships of people cycling together as a couple for really long ages or there are not a lot people who do it longer than for an exact defined time or goal that was set when such an adventure begins. The imagination of a romance on bicykles (almost)forever is an illusion for the most of people. I love cycling and adventures but it is always better to stop befor things become a hamster wheel. Peyman I wish you all the best and I hope you always make the best decisions to enjoy life. Matilda was a treasure.🙋♀Liebe Grüße

What you say is so true. We all grow and change. Some times we go up the ladder and change into something more complex, Or we move instead sideways and instead chose to become more specialized. That is part of our personal evolution. I'm 80 and the one thing I have learned is that life is not a straight road to some imagined goal. Rather it is a twisting turning, back tracking, going ten years forward and five years back and than suddenly three years side ways. And suddenly you find that you are no longer on this physical road of discovering the world and now in your studio creating 3 dimensional sculptures expressing the feelings, joys, beauty and spirituality from your experiences to share with others.
@kaffeemitcola65062 жыл бұрын
@@tomsitzman3952 Finding a fullfilling thing is the best what can happen to a person whatever it is. And if there is always enough money to survive comfortably it is a blessing. I do not know if my life had changed If I had a person or partner loving travelling this way like me. Maybe the period of times outside would have been stretched but who knows. I never gave up my residence to be a nomad and I always felt how nice it is to come home. And I am sure many people like the idea to have a place to go back to, like Matilda did when she decided not go leave her home again. I think earning money with the thing they love, like influencers and the cyclists here on KZbin do, can be a dream but I always ask myself if its constant joy or does the adventure become only something like an everyday job. Looking back :-) , when I crossed the 40s my trips are not less intense but shorter. Socializing at home is not the worst thing. Liebe Grüße🙋♀

People continue to fight for their freedoms, but in the end if God disapproves of what you are doing or perhaps has other plans for you...a soul must listen and obey. And remember this too; Adversaries of God work against the family of God's freedoms. (excluding SIN). What a lot of lives should really be thoughtful toward is their CHOICES.
@kaffeemitcola65062 жыл бұрын
@@StarEssences If there was a God who disapproves things what people are doing and a soul has to listen and obey, the life on mother earth would be better. If there is a God wo approves what human beeings do and what happens its a bad God. God must be bad if allows what he does. If you find something in your spirituality thats OK, but in the name of god so much shit happens all over the planet. And I am glad that people are not bound to something like a god according to their decisions. Good luck with or without god.

Thanks for the update! For me Normad's Trails will be a new experience as it is for you know. Matilda gave the Vlogs a calm, thoughtful part I really liked. You both created a community of cyclists and explorers and of course the community is caring and empathic for you guys. I guess nearly half of instagram comments was about Matilda. :D I'm happy that she's fine and both of you, too. Life always follows its own paths and so do you. I can imagine it's difficult to discuss these personal things on social media but it's couragous to do it! And I'm really looking forward for your new adventures!

We did 4 months of overlanding with my girlfriend between july and september in southern africa (SA-namibia-botswana-zimbabwe-SA) and if I remember correctly we crossed the path of someone looking very much like you on the road in botswana (don't remember exactly where, but it was on the northern part of the country). I think sometimes we need to be realistic in life. Your lif choice is incredible, you can be an adventurer but it's really difficult to live the whole life this way. A man needs to go but also to return and try to build something. What is the scope of travelling continuisly? Is it the scope the travel itself or there's something wider? You were saying the same thing with Matilda at the beginning of your trip "We will travel for 10 years" . Then you now, plans can change all a sudden, this is why I don't love making big plans in life. A woman one day will wish to build a family, to have children and it's impossible to think about it travelling. Life is only one. Good luck for your future adventures.
@NomadsTrails2 жыл бұрын
Hi, People have different way of life. some wants to live all of the life doing adventures some part of it or what so ever. there is not only one correct way. also off-course situation can change in life you never know for me also. i been doing adventures since i can remember who i am and i still do the same and enjoy the same way. maybe i can say it like this: with me some part of plans might need adjustments now and then since always there is surprises in life but the goal doesn’t change. :)

So why did you now quit cycling, Peyman? It doesn’t make any sense for me.
@Grolpoza Жыл бұрын
Matilda, it would be wonderful to see even a short clip from you talking about what you have been up to for the last year. Obviously sad to see you leaving the channel. I think the amount of work you were doing editing the videos went unappreciated, but is really visible now when I compare the much less frequent posts from Peyman now. Peyman, when you have time, it would be nice to see your adventures in south Africa, from Tanzania all the way to Namibia.
@StarEssences2 жыл бұрын
I bet if Matilda was doing perhaps, seasonal bike touring and for shorter periods, she would still enjoy it and participate in it. Long term touring is a more difficult way of life; a lot more is required of you besides also dealing with the outside elements and of course foreign country matters when entering on new territory. I will hopefully get the opportunity to do a bike tour, but the longest I will do one is for about 2 weeks.
@NomadsTrails2 жыл бұрын
