St. Matrona pray to God that our souls may be saved! ☦️🙏🏻 Fr, the beauty of the monastic garb being the same amongst men and women has always spoken to me as a living out of "there is neither male or female" spoken by St. Paul's epistle to the Galatians.

Not sure why you say the female and male monastics dress the same way. Yes, the color is the same, but the head covering for the females seems like a very different thing, and something I would very much find uncomfortable; whereas men can walk far more freely (and hear more easily--I;ve been told the head covering actually interferes, a bit, with hearing).

Very interesting, if I may point out, that perhaps she is a saint because she left her husband for God, for a higher purpose, although illegal at those times...is it not written to chose Him above all else? Just a thought
