T. L. most photocard collectors put a thinner individual sleeve on each card just for extra protection. it’s not a necessary step but most do it just to keep them from moving around :)

I don’t blame you at all for not sleeving your cards, with how many cards you have, it’d take FOREVER to sleeve them all at this point and it’s 100% not necessary for storing them. The people who comment on you not sleeving them are just collecting elitists.

SG Aleks Some people also use it as a way to not be able to see through to the other pages. So it can fulfill a lot of purposes.

Honestly I like the fact that you don’t sleeve the cards. It sounds weird but putting the cards in without sleeves feels more relaxing to me (your photocard storing videos are literally like ASMR to me, I love watching them and they help me to relax) Thank you for another great video, I appreciate how much time and effort you put into all of your videos 🥺💕

i honestly could care less if someone sleeves or doesn't sleeve their cards like at the end of the day its your choice to do it or not do it. plus sleeves are expensive and the amount of cards you have you'd have to keep buying and buying when you can clearly spend it on cards/albums instead.

FullSun Stream Punch some people out photocards into colored sleeves and you can’t se the backs of the photocards with them!! for example, youtuber Wonhead has greensleeves in her monsta x binder because that’s how she prefers for it to look! hope this helps.

@FullSun Stream Punch some collectors use a plastic sleeve to the photocards before they place it i think like before they put it into the binder they will cover the pc with another plastic for extra protection i think

I’d like to say there is also clear sleeves so you can keep them in sleeves and still see the backs. I only use colored sleeves as placeholders so that I don’t have to cut out paper.

I'm just like you. I like the back of the photocards so I also don't sleeve them :) It's a matter of taste and people should respect it. I wish I lived in a country that can receive mail from overseas. My favorite groups made comebacks and I couldn't buy any album, and also can't buy any photocards (it's also very hard to find them in my country). I know there are more important things to worry about at the moment, but I feel sad I can't receive packages. I'm glad you're still posting though. Thanks for the video :)

I hate extra sleeving, especially when people are using colored sleeves so you cannot see backs of photocards. I am so happy because you don't use sleeves ❤️ personally I love backs of cards and the ones with signatures are amazing so hiding it under sleeve is just crime

for anyone looking to start a collection i WOULD recommend sleeving your cards just because it would keep them safer and lessen possibilities of damage. HOWEVER it is NOT necessary to sleeve them and it does save space to not sleeve your cards. it’s up to you and your preferences :)

i DO NOT blame you for not sleeving your cards, i tried sleeving my cards and i totally gave up because there were so many comebacks at once and i collect a lot of members so it would take forever to sleeve all my cards and put them in my binder as well. like you and i stan a lot of groups as i can see and it really takes a lot of work to sleeve every individual card. i also find it much more satisfying to put in without the sleeve!

OMG 😱you are like the only other person I have seen that doesn't use sleeves. 🤗I was panicking and wondering if I need to purchase some before I start my photocard collecting. I love seeing the back of my cards. I get some people like using them so the cards don't move around a lot. So I will probably try that with my smaller cut/size cards with the free sleeves I got. (I also get it is for extra protection). But its such a pet peeve of mine when people use those sleeves that have holes on them n covers beautiful faces some times 😤 Okay I should go rant somewhere else. Its personal preference after all. 🤷‍♀️

You don’t have to sleeve your cards! I don’t sleeve some of mine because I found out that the size of some of my cards used to bend the sleeves, so I keep them unsleeved 😅 It’s up to you. It’s your collection ☺️

if only ultra pro sleeves were cheap in my country 😔 i use bantex ones and unlike the ultra pro ones, the cards move around much more in the bantex sleeves. but they’re also like 2 to 3 times cheaper than ultra pro. ugh i don’t want to sleeve my cards but the moving around annoys me :( i’m holding back myself from buying sleeves rn lol also i like to see the backs so if i do end up sleeving it’ll probably be clear ones

I actually search to other sorting photocard video bc I just watch your video only so idk how other people sort their photocard so i was like "what sleeve??" I was surprised I saw some put paper inside the sleeve with their cards.😨 I understand you don't want to see through or to be tidy but you can't see the back of the cards 😭 the back of some card are so beautiful, it got their signs and messages. I want to see that too everytime I flipped the pocket pages 😭😭

Using single sleeves with colored backs or paper is more of a style/design choice - there are plenty types of transparent single sleeves, too, which would allow for the back to be visible. I prefer using transparent single sleeves as extra protection for more valuable cards, in case they need to be touched/ moved inside the binder sheets frequently.
