I have one of these containers in my stack of items to go in a Scrap Booking Yard sale...well needless to say it's no longer going to yard sale!!! I had been placing them in cello bags by size . Thanks so much for this great idea.

great! If you are in U.S., they are on sale at Michaels now, too

Yes, If I had one of these Iris boxes, I'd be hanging onto it! I had a different type/brand card keeper box, but ended up giving to grandkids for their perler bead supplies for their camper. It helps keep all that stuff together. I now am keeping my cards filed in a photo box from Michael's.

Great organisation. I have moved my paper scraps from envelopes to file folder to boxes. The issue is not storage but hoarding.
@LollyPalooza5 жыл бұрын
I had mine in expanding file folder type containers that are about the size that hold bank checks. Too small. They got moved to the cardboard box, and now this.

I thought I was the only one hoarding..... I think to myself even with little pieces "I'll use that one day" lol

Hello Lolly , what a great idea to saving and organizing your scraps. I have 4 of those boxes I put my already made cards in them by seasons. I get my boxes at Michael’s, they are not cheap but I always use a coupon . I get them one at a time as needed. 🤗 thank you for sharing it’s always neat to see how others organize. Love the file folder idea as well. Hugs. Happy weekend ! 🐰🐰🐰🐰

What a great idea Lolly! I happen to have that Iris card organizer which I bought for another purpose, but am not using. I’ve already cut divider folders for it and I’m starting to fill them up with my scraps. Your tutorial was so clear and thorough. Thanks!

Love the case . A suggestion to take your idea to the next level . On a crafty, non crafty day...use your time to cut yours scraps into the largest size possible per the scraps your are working with. Choose 8 sizes, if it cannot be cut into one of your chosen sizes it goes into the temporary punch box. Punch smaller pieces after you complete the larger cuts. I store my scraps by size of paper. I find I use them more because I can check if I have the size I need before cutting into a full sheet of paper. I do the same for punches. I pick a few of my most used punches to punch my scraps , then store them in a small container with multiple slots. Just a few suggestions to add to your great video.

Nice idea!! I just recently, put mine in, I think 8 1/2 x 11 protective plastic sheets, in a 3 ring binder. All the reds together, all the blues together, etc. So, I then just flip the plastic sheets to find the color I want. So far, it seems to be ok...but I love your idea, too......TFS Lolly!! 😍~Suzy~

I put my larger scraps that aren't big enough to store with my 8 x 11inch cardatock in clear plastic pocket sleeves in a binder. I go to these first to use for card bases and mats, so I dont cut into full sheets, if I dont need to. Even smaller scraps are filed by color in a clear shoebox. Those are to add color behind my greetings, die cut embellishments and words, and other details. Yes, they are in 2 different places, but it's easier to go through, depending if I'm looking for a small scrap, or to start a new card.

that works, too! Have to dig a little deeper to get to the bottom of the page protector, but if you are okay with it, it's perfect
