Its not that they made her weak, its an interpretation of her character in this series. She's shown to have potential but also vulnerable to her powers either making her own powers become too controlling of hers or her learning to control it. Her emotions are the driving force to her powers and such, they did do that part well for her character here.

I know why they can’t make her super strong… it’s hard to write a character that can practically destroy the whole world in situations against people. Especially if they’re a hero. I think there needs to be a better representation of her power to audiences but as soon as she accomplishes something like that people will complain about how lazy writing it is. We’ve seen this with scarlet witch in the mcu. People were mad they made her a Jean grey copycat in the movies and when she finally became powerful enough like her comic version. People were mad that she easily overpowered heroes when her power is to literally manipulate reality and everything in the universe/multiverse. If storm was even given such treatment in movies people would complain about how “lazy writing it is” and that whoever she beat shouldn’t be able to die/lose that easily to her. That’s why people don’t write characters who have omega level powers up to their full potential cause they can solve all the problems In the world without the help of a team.

LMAO not at all. This anime did NOT "fail in her adaption" AT ALL fool. She's represented great here, This is clearly based off the movie's Halle Berry version so stop whining over nothing ass she's powerful enough as it is.
